Well antares basically had to fight Jin woo and his army + the armies of all other monarchs at once

*Yeah, there are obvious inconsistent writing in this story.* The first 150+ episodes established that Monarch of Shadow is the most powerful among the Rulers and Monarchs, that's the sole reason why the Monarchs fear and betrayed him in the first place. And that's the reason why the power balance between Rulers and Monarchs is destroyed. The reason why Rulers specifically assigned Jinwoo's father to assassinate the vessel of Ashborn. The reason why the Rulers want him to turn back to their side because whichever side he picks is the winner. But then it got retconned (without build up whatsoever) that Antares is "actually" the most powerful. And he's "actually" the one who schemed Monarch of Fang and Monarch of White Flame's betrayal against Ashborn. Plus the fact that it was established that Jinwoo's ability to turn the mana of corpses into his shadow army. And further established that yes, he could turn even Antares' dragon army into his shadows. But Jinwoo fears the disadvantage of having "less number" against his enemies. And the fact that this was after he actually unlocked his full power as Monarch of Shadow so he shouldn't have problem with Mana deficiency. And even worse sin of this is that Monarch of Shadow's domain is death itself.

😂😂😂🤣🤣 He was the strongest before the timeline reversed. In the LN he nearly killed Jin Oo who merged with the OG shadow monarch Ashborn. Later in 2nd battle he still struggled to defeat him but did it.

It was stated that he is the concept of destruction itself. You need be at the same higher existence like him to kill him which Sung Jin Woo was since he is the concept of death. "A higher existence's memories of past, present and even future aren't affected by the flow of time, and easily transcends the boundaries of time itself" Monarchs transcend time itself and this is a lowly feat of Antares. In the LN only the presnce of Antares shook the universe. Literally the universe couldn't stand his destruction energy. He is literally like Beerus from DBS but even more haxed. His breath of destruction literally erases your concept from the very fabric of existence as stated in the novel. Not only body mind and soul but your concept is erased. That's how strong this guy is. Naruto and Bleach would crumble only by his presence and remember that the monarchs prepared the planet decades for Antares' arrival. In the LN it was stated the planet was thousands of times more durable and even that barely could withstand Antares' presence

U serious? That burn was just one of the many injuries but jinwoo can't heal that burn, that just speaks volumes of his power. Jimwoo who can basically wrap reality and play with space and time can't even heal that burn due to the sheer power
