Money is a subject of learning, and managing it should be part of basic education. It's a very critical subject - you use it nearly every day and need basic skills in it to prosper at all. Right after the 3 R's, comes finance. Our fear of money and financial matters comes from being unfamiliar with it. If we allow it, the fear will drive us to letting money - mainly the lack of it - control us. And money is a terrible master to have to be controlled by. "I can't (because I don't have the $,)" is not a pleasant experience. But if we will learn to control our finances, make the money work for us, it can become a very useful servant. This is what Christ was talking about when he said that no man can serve Mammon and God at the same time. Either you control money, or money controls you.
Lol, the first game I'm gonna sell is actually an RPG, just not a super long one. Earlier I had a little realization chain reaction, "wow, my game is getting closer to done!" "Oh no, that means the business side of things!" "BUSINESS?!?!" Still a little scared, but like you said, gotta do what you can do and go up from there.
