My Wife and I were on our way west on our bike (in '16 I think). We were in the farm country in the panhandle of OK. We stopped for gas at a 2 pump country store where about 25 or 30 Mongols were also fueling. We talked briefly and they were on their way to New Orleans. Very courteous Men and Women. Just some more bike riders having fun. They were from Greely, CO. Happy trails!
In mid-May as I was walking to the local Albertson's, a homeless man had started to attack me for no reason by pinning me to the ground as he got on top of me. As I was struggling to get away from the homeless man who had started screaming at me, this is when a Mongol had decided to help me by getting the guy off of me long enough to allow me to get away, but before I could even get thank you for helping me out of my mouth the Mongol who had helped me was already on his motorcycle and was gone. This Mongol didn't have any reason to help me but he did it anyways

Trust me when I say gas isn’t the only thing being bought, Cigarettes, Snacks, They probably cleaned that store out literally. Probably no gas left lmao 🤣 (exaggerated) but they definitely made more than they make in a week on that one day.
I’m a solo rider.. prefer it that way.. never had any inclination to wear a cut.. riding through WA a few years back, I was surrounded by ~40 bikes (Satans Disciples, I think they were).. grilled me for a while.. explained I’m active duty, ride solo to clear my head of the BS, meant no disrespect.. they asked where I was headed and they let me ride up front with their pres all the way to the state line.. admittedly, it was pretty damn cool.. shout out to good dudes enjoying the wind in their hair
Bikers are probably some of the coolest people you could ever meet, long as you give them respect. While working at a gas station I had a few circle a customer that was being a complete douchebag and "politely" ask him and his friend to leave. I know it sounds crazy but I would rather have this group come through than any of the others.
I think I know what you are referring to as “other groups” I recently purchased a Harley and I have a hole new affinity for the biker ethos….respect! Give it….expect it!
One day I noticed a number of Mongols around my apartment area. Turns out one of their members died and were in town for the funeral. The member who passed lived one block over and there is/was a highly regarded artist who once was a Mongol. I went over to the next block to see if he was with them. I rode up on my bicycle and asked one of the members. The member said he did not know who I was speaking of but went and got someone that he said would if anyone there knew. So out comes this Mongol and said yeah I know him. He doesn't ride anymore he said and told me he's very nice and we talked about the bands he was in etc., Nothing anyone who knew him wouldn't know, that kinda stuff. They were very nice. I really respected their respect for civilians, which I was they even offered me a beer which I kindly refused cause I was once an alcoholic and quit drinking a few years before. Overall I left with a new respect for their club.
I love too see the sheer number of the bikers and how they all roll out so many of them. Im a veteran and seeing bikers ride choppers makes me think of Freedom. Have fun be safe.

Jozeph Reyes Just like any other club. If you want to join ask a member. Just a heads up you will have to work to earn your cut. Watching the bikes, possibly cleaning them, doing odd jobs, running errands, playing barmaid, but always be at the ready for them. Have a Harley that’s over 1200cc too. I’m no club member, but friends who are have told me you have to show dedication to get in.

Have you been to a Harley showroom lately. Almost everything is "made in china"! Wllie G. sold out back in 1969 to AMF - the bowling ball people. Since then - not one Harley has been "made in America"! Look at their stocks - it's around $37 each share! Most of the time it's under $37 dollars. They better wise up and start making their products here! Of course, this biden administration would tax them out of business!
Oh boy, I remember we went to the opening of the new Chewy’s restaurant in the Valley, everything was fine with the Hells Angels being there UNTIL, we heard the Mongols were on their way. We went to a Biker church at the time and our Pastor was warned by the HA that we’d all better leave as the Mongols were coming.

I did this one day. I rode up on a big club like this at a gas station and went for the gas. I got off and went inside to pee and grab a cold mt.dew. I came out and everyone was just staring at me. I was like what??? Shrugged my shoulders and got my gas. I took off and I actually realized I just rolled up and got right in the middle of them. I rode off relieved I didn’t get my butt kicked. I didn’t know they were outlaw bikers.. I was thinking it was a poker run group or a group
Always do, a Mongol never rides alone. They were probably doing their annual run where all Mongols from all over come to this hotel in the middle of nowhere and party for like a week straight. Or it was a funeral, can never really tell because they always roll deep lol.

Howcome club members like this stopped riding the stripped down chops they had in the sixties and 70s, and switched to the baggers with full fairings, full length fenders, etc? Those 60s/70s club bikes were sweet.
