Catching a monster carp from a canal in Belgium was the reason that we decided to embark on this adventure. Myself and a friend Ollie didn't have hardly any knowledge of venues when we booked this trip, but a few friends of mine that have been in the past, dropped me a couple of pins and put us on the right track. Little did we know that this trip was going to become something very special catching a carp of over 40lbs and also catching numerous fish over the magic 30lb mark, it truly was an adventure of a lifetime.

Ça dégoûte de voir les lieux être cramer comme ça. C'est un vieux bras déjà poncer ou il y eu pas mal de braconnage. C'est abusé le nombre de video sur 4 mois que je vois sur RU-vid de ce lieux. Il va y avoir encore plus de monde la bas la pression vas être énorme 😒

Exactement.. je suis du coin aussi et franchement ses Anglais commencent sérieusement a casser les couilles... ils se croivent tout permis et en plus ils sont mal polis!!!faudra un moment donner leurs montrer c'est quoi les Belges...🇧🇪

Je voulais pêcher là-bas (je suis anglais et j'aime les canaux ici) mais après avoir regardé toutes ces vidéos je vais chercher un endroit plus calme.

@@carper1993 c'est un belle endroit qui réserve de belle surprise vraiment du gros et pépite c'est dommage que ça soit exposer comme ça. Te prive surtout pas pour autant ✌️

Good stuff.! I would say please be mindful filming obvious landmarks or you could upset the locals and regulsr visiting anglers. 🙏. I know exactly where you were from one night I did there as a stopover from the south, but I generally don't fish canals (I fish rivers), so it doesn't bother me too much. Now you've had a taste of European fishing I'm sure you'll be back soon. You did better than most on their first public water trip, but you put the effort in 👍

Good catch, not easy here. Im a carpfisher for 30 years on Albert canal, if you ever look for a spot i'll help you out

Hej, ik wil wel meer info voor spots. Vis zelf +-2j op kanalen en nog niet veel gevangen. Woon vlak tegen het kempisch kanaal

Great video Jack keep the good work up. I am planing a 4 day trip in the spring after my very first trip out to the French public waters this Autumn. I am hooked on the European waters. It is such freedom fishing out there.
