Since everybody in the comments seems to love this Father-Daughter tragedy, here is a little detail to make this experience better: *Jinx's rocket launcher is a shark with a black, scar-like detail on its left eye. It's called fishbone* *Silco has a black scar on his left eye.* *Silco loved sea monsters and Jinx wanted to make something Silco really liked, so Jinx made a sea monster inspired weapon based on Silco (like the coffee mug she had made for him).* *Jinx used the "Fishbone the black eyed Sea monster" weapon to kill the council because she thought that is what Silco would have wanted.* *In the game she banters with "Fishbone" like it were parent-child conversation.* *"We will show them. We will show them all"* *You are welcome.*

i like how they went for a different route when VI used the 'remember who u are' card. All VI was doing was bringing her sister more pain by bringing up past trauma, memories that shouldve been joyful is just twisted now and i like to believe thats why Silco was so furious, because VI was unintentionally hurting her even more

Silco really was one of the best parts of this series he wasn’t just some generic trashy villain he had so much depth and how he told jinx he would never have given her to them was just heartbreaking

Viktor dumped Sky’s ashes there in the river because it’s where they used to play as kids.

Vander to Vi: "That's my girl" Silco to Jinx: "You're perfect"

So for those who dont know, Jinx's Ultimate ability in the game is basically firing a Nuke that can hit anywhere on the map. For all of us who knew that, that final scene was EPIC.

The "peace" that the council was agreeing too was on the condition that Silco gave up Jinx, similar to how Vander was supposed to give up Vi. I've watched a lot of reactions and noticed that Vi never called Jinx by her name, subconsciously Vi was never going to call Powder "a jinx" again but this meant that it sent the message that Vi would only love Jinx as Powder making her love conditional. Silco's love was unconditional, no matter how many times Jinx screwed up he would always be there for her even defended her from his most loyal like a father would.

Point to note, Silco doesn't interfere when Jinx and Vi are talking until Vi starts bringing up her foster family not realising that she's hurting Jinx instead of helping her. Silco reaches for the gun purely because Jinx is hurting.

Did you guys realize how Jayce said "am i interrupting" to Viktor, just like he did for him back in act 1. That was a pretty cool parallel they made. Glad you noticed the thing about Silco becoming just like Vander, being in the position where he has to choose between peace or Jinx.

Can we respect how Jinx has been on her whole batman game this entire season. Heck she even has unresolved trauma from the death of her family from when left alone in a dark rainy alley to boot.

Vander refused to give out Vi when the enforcers wanted a scape goat, this enraged Silco thinking Vander has gone soft only caring about his children, not Zaun. Now that Silco treated Jinx as his daughter, he refused to give her out as well parallel to what Vander did. In turn realizing what Vander went through, daughter and children comes first before everything. Ultimately it became the downfall for both of them, everything comes full circle

"The Boy didn't even haggle" just realised, is that a callback to when Ekko described Jayce the same way in the first episodes?

6:15 He poured the ashes there because she was also a girl of the slums. There is a flashback of him as a child making that toy boat. She was the girl curious about him and the boat. He poured her ashes in the place he knew she had a connection to.

The last shot with the reflection of the rocket and the glass shattering to make the cheshire cat like smile is a really cool shot. This show really has a way of making every shot look like a wallpaper. Thanks for all the reactions guys.

when ekko meets claggor outside benzo's shop , he tells claggor that jayce paid in gold and didnt even haggle . in episode nine silco also says that jayce didnt haggle . just a little parallel i noticed .

Silco manipulated Jinx but that wasn't his intention. He just saw himself in her, abandoned by his older sibling because he was different, and wanted to give her the affection he didn't had growing up.

Roshi’s “what” at the credits was fucking amazing, perfect example of how I felt at the end as well.

I love how the line “what could have been” happens before the shark crushes the window because in that room there’s a group of people voting for a future where Piltover and Zaun live in peace with each other so we are literally looking at what could have been before Jinx destroys it all. I also enjoy the parallel with episode 3, where in both situations Jinx thinks she’s doing the right thing or helping some she loves but in reality her interfering is just turning what was to be a good situation very very bad. No matter how much we love her, she truly is a jinx.

Just noticed that Jinx literally jinxed everything throughout the ENTIRE series.. First she takes from the stones in Jayce's apartment.. which causes the explosion.. Which gets them noticed.. which creates a tension between the two cities.. which forces vi to give herself up.. which makes vander take her place.. which makes vander get kidnapped because if he hadn't had been there silco wouldn't have been there.. which makes vi and the others try to save him.. which causes everyone's deaths.. which makes vi lash out at her.. which makes her become Jinx..worst thing is after a while you even realize she LITERALLY makes everything worst.. she goes rampaging on the air balloon.. which gets the guy caught.. which gets the guy sent to still water.. which gets him beat the fuck up.. which makes cupcake go to vi instead of him.. which makes vi and cupcake team up.. which makes vander worried as she's supposed to be dead.. which makes the chief of police get threatened.. which makes him even more inclined to listen to silco.. while simultaneously silco isn't telling Jinx about vi.. which gets Jinx to start distrusting him.. which is exactly why she was even more inclined to believe silco was going to sell her out.. which pushes her over the edge.. which makes her kidnap everyone.. which makes vi and her have that talk.. which sends her into a panic.. which makes her shoot everything in sight when silco gets a gun in hand.. instead of disarming him easily with focus and precision.. which gets silco killed.. which pushes her to shoot the council.. which probably is going to send the undercity and all of piltover into an even BIGGER tension.. Jinx really had bad luck from episode one my guy(☞ ಠ_ಠ)☞

Jayce saving Viktor from suicide with the same line Viktor used to save Jayce: "Am I interrupting". This show's a masterpiece in every way.

"What makes you different makes you strong", "You're stronger than you think" Jinx says Vi's voice was what kept pushing her, but in the end everyone is just muted and Silco's voice was the only one that stuck to her. "We'll show them. We will show them all"

They do have a entire lore, the world of Arcane is called Runeterra, there's an official interactive world map on internet and every character belongs to a region of the map and have their own lore. Literally almost any champion could be a protagonist of its own series. The game might suck, but the lore and worldbuilding is just mindblowing.

This has gotta be one of the best cliffhanger endings since forever. They managed to complete so many character arcs in Season 1 and still leave people mad thirsty for Season 2, brilliantly done Riot!

I love that Silco says "You're perfect" instead of "Jinx is perfect" at the end. Throughout the show he made it seem she had to be Jinx to make him happy, but when all the cards were down he admitted that he just cared about her.

That whole meeting with vi, jinx, silco, and caitlyn is honestly the best moment ive seen in any anime or tv show. The animation, dialogue, intensiveness is just on a whole nother level it was so amazing never been so captivated. Start to finish that meeting kept me on my feet

I love how the dynamic between lupa and jinx changes from beginning to end. At the start of the series he was calling her out for all her mistakes and talking shit(which is *somewhat* justified) to fucking screeching at the sight of her in the past 2 episodes cuz of her shimmer induced horror tendencies.

Silco is probably my favorite villain of any show now. His subjects were all loyal to him no matter how tough it got, he never forgot what it was like to be at the bottom, and in the end he never would have given her up and the council still voted to surrender. He had everything and fought hard to get it. "Power doesn’t come to those who were born strongest, it comes to those who will do anything to achieve it."

So happy y’all watched this. Seeing other people enjoy it always feels so good. Silco saying at the end, “You’re perfect” validates essentially all of the bad things Powder/Jinx has done and will continue to do. Once Silco died, Powder finally chose to sit in the Jinx seat, fully embracing who she was and who Silco said she was. Beautiful series. Can’t wait to see y’all’s reaction to the next!

I feel like everyone misses the fact that Mel’s jewelry/armor starts to glow 10 seconds before the rocket hits (not a reflection of the rocket). Indicating that she had a sort of “spidy sense” that alerted her to the threat, as if you pay close attention nobody else is noticing but her. This just means that she may have been hiding some sort of ability and she may save them all.

23:50 The designs for the weapons are actually brilliant. Since they’re made for mining, the barrier abilities from the hammer and the gloves would be used to block falling debris during mining. And to have the implementation and background of those weapons from the game to the show is just wow.

Riot did an amazing portrayal of schizophrenia through jinx. It shows you just how pervasive and disorienting the hallucinations are which of course makes her act vvv impulsive and aggressive glad yall had a lotta fun watchinggg

The reason why Vi was naming those people who appeared as a monster to Jinx is because Jinx sees these people as negative memories that why she is thinking of them as monsters and Vi thinks of the as positive memories and while she is naming them, notice how Jinx got smaller and smaller while the monsters got bigger and bigger. Vi was trying to make Jinx feel better and calm down, unknowingly she made it worse and got her more agitated.

Fun fact: The rocket she shot in the end it's her ultimate ability in the game and it's called Super Mega Death Rocket

League doesn't have "a" story it's a shit ton of small stories based on the characters. Those stories flesh out the world, regions, politics, and everything else to create the stage for more stories.

Just random crazy thoughts, but everyone talks about how rough Jinx/Powder had it, but think about this. Vi gets put into prison as a kid. Not, juvi, not a women's prison, there's just the one prison. There's no record of her existing so no one to check up or look out for her. The guard at the desk and Vi infer that she's physically assaulted pretty much daily. She's also allowed into the cafeteria with everyone else. So for roughly 10 years she was probably brutally assaulted by inmates and guards with no hope for help or anyone to care. And people are upset she's into women? She probably doesn't want any dude to lay hands on her ever again. The fact that she's even somewhat mentally stable is a miracle.

He poured Skye’s ashes there because Skye also was from the Undercity (as shown in Viktor’s backstory). Skye was shown to hang around there too as a child, so he probably thought dumping her ashes somewhere where she came from as a child would be respectable.

I love Fishbones, her rocket. When you weaken someone and they warp back to their base I can shoot fishbones toward their base from anywhere on the map, and it'll smack right into them as they warp in! Such a troll move and I love it. Wish it was as powerful as on arcane tho.

You guys should try and react to Get Jinxed!, Ekko: Seconds, and Giants (that’s just a bonus, haha). Each one gives an insight into what Ekko and Jinx are as champions! They’re music videos, but Riot doesn’t really claim reaction vids when it comes to their OWN music. Oh! And Piltover and Zaun legends of runeterra video, for Jinx and Ekko shenanigans.

13:24 That pose she took was a natural position anyone would take when covering their head from something falling from above them, so yeah, for mining lol You gotta remember they already use a very rough, featureless version of these gauntlets (like the ones Vander had) for mining. The ones Vi has are just enhanced versions meant to make the workload easier and safer. This was obviously meant to be a defense mechanism to protect the user from a cave in, which is something miners have to constantly deal with. Vi just had never been in the situation to trigger the barrier until now. Also, the barrier is part of Vi's passive ability in the game.

One of the things I love best about this show is that our Heroes even our villains at times do fail. Just like in almost any other show. But in this case, our heroes fail because of their virtues, not despite them. Over and over we see where doing the right thing, the virtuous thing leads to unintentional and oftentimes tragic consequences. And the little piece of Powder that was still inside Jinx died protecting her sister from Silco. This show is a Masterwork in storytelling.

People are saying “oh look jinx messed up everything again like she always does” at the very end of the season but when the meeting started at the council tower Vicktor started the conversation out with “Jayce made a deal with Silco” and that deal will lead to their independence. We find out as Silco is dying that he was never going to give up jinx. Giving her up for prison or even death was the deal so I don’t even think they would’ve got their independence. They were just agreeing fir the deal. Just for the people in the comments to know, I don’t play league or watch the lore only the show.

No, the defense force field in Vi’s gloves actually make sense for mining. If a tunnel collapses or rocks tumble down, it’s really useful to not crushed by them.

couple things: 1. Yes, every champion on LoL has a Lore and all happen in the same universe. 2. At the part when Jinx kills Silco I just thought my man was gonna say "Not the Japannese symbols" (If you know, you know) 3. Season 2 is confirmed, and the CEO of Riot (i think) confirmed that it would not take another 6 years as season 1 but it is in production and is not coming in 2022 either. Mini spoiler Mel is from a region called Noxus, so fans of LoL are already making theories of who killed her brother that can be a champion in the game.

To answer your question. Every character (champion) has their own background story and interaction with the other characters. Champions can be considered somewhat major players in the story. This animation almost fully followed the regular lore. We can tell you who the champions are in the game (the main characters) but by doing that we might spoil you. Not knowing them adds a lot of mystery to the story which I think will make it better for you guys. They followed 85%/90% of the lore but they added other characters in or gave some more important characters additional lore such as Vander and Singed. For example something that's not a spoiler is that Silco is not in the game. This is not the only well developed area of the lore (LoL story). You have Noxus (Medarda's are from there), Damacia, Ionia, Shurima, Shadow Isles, Bilgewater and Freljord. For me it's seems very likely that will cover about 3 or 4 more of these areas, some are interconnected.

In this show the list of characters in league is this: Jinx,Vi,Viktor,Jayce,Caitlyn,Heimerdinger,Ekko,Singed(the guy who makes researches ont hat purple shit that helped viktor and jinx) and Vander(fan theory, singed makes him go back alive as a werewolf named Warwick)

Man, this whole show was an emotional roller-coaster. That last part left me wanting so much more.

the thing about league of legends is that every character has a story and some of them intertwine, there are nations and realms but in the game itself you can play without knowing or being expose to any lore at all. Just queue a game, play and that's it.

24:50 Thing is, you gotta make the difference between the actual lore of the characters with the world they live in (Runeterra), and the *skins* lore, where skins are alternative looks (payable content in the game) with their own alternative lore. Exemple: Akali is a ninja that is very skilled and wants to follow her own rules (kinda), while KDA Akali is a young popstar that represent the rebelious side of her popstar band.
