Monsters vs. Aliens is a 2009 American animated science fiction action comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures. When a meteor full of space gunk transforms Susan Murphy (Reese Witherspoon) into a giant, the government renames her Ginormica and confines her to a secret compound with other monsters, like bug-headed Dr. Cockroach (Hugh Laurie). When an extraterrestrial robot lands on Earth and begins a rampage, Gen. W.R. Monger persuades the president to send Ginormica and her fellow monsters to battle the machine and save the planet.

I personally disagree. Don't get me wrong, the ability to change size IS cool in general, but I thought the point of the film was her finding out that becoming a giant was the best thing to happen to her. She even said she wasn't going to *short change* herself ever again. I think it was meant to be taken both figuratively AND literally.

This show was something fun to watch when I wanted something simple and goofy to watch, and honestly I still feel that way. But as for the issues about Susan’s character, you’ve gotta watch the episodes where it’s revealed she’s a top-class guerrilla warfare dodgeball player due to childhood trauma of being picked last for dodgeball, and one where she’s basically revealed as a Twilight fan when the team goes to recruit a werewolf. I think those two did better to give her some personality.

Oh lord, I remember this show now. I REALLY remember now. Episodes flashing before my eyes. Leprechauns, Dr Cockroach going to high school again, BOB with a brain, Coverton and Derrick. Oh God in Heaven, why do I remember this now.

You should watch Kipo and Trollhunters. For the movie ones, perhaps Adventures of Puss in Boots and Mr. Peabody and Sherman show

I once seen a Monster's vs. Aliens short that's like a prequel where Bob can read minds and they use it to try to escape the facility. Also, the invisible man was there who was dead in the movie.

The one episode I remeber having the best joke is the episode where BOB is trying to stop the gang from seeing coverton and constantly erasing their memories because he’s doing something gross. The best line in it is when BOB just gives up and is just sitting in the hallway with a typewriter and says “Guys I’m writing a novel! It’s called the blob no one listened to.”
