I just ordered the Montana bison with a 20% discount code. It was still a lot, but it made it an easier pill to swallow. Been wearing the same leather belt since I was 19 years old, and I’m 42 now. It’s looking pretty bad these days, so I wanted to get the last belt I will ever need. The old leather belt is not a Montana belt, but it has held up. Was time to get something nice though.
I came here to ask how you like it now, but realized this video is only a day old. Just bought the Montana and waiting for it to come in. This one will be my everyday carry to the range as well to work were it is going to get stained in grease, hydrolic fluid and swet. If I like it I plan to get another or maybe the kydex reinforced one for my range belt.
Thanks for the comment. It is very. And I mean very stiff out of the package but just in the time I've been using it it is already starting to mold to my body and loosen up a bit. I used the everyday one as my ccw belt and it worked great. But I'm going to switch to this one as it is alot more rugged. I can't speak on dealing with any nasty stuff but the old one cleaned up fine.
And just to add the customer service from hanks was fantastic so I'm sure if you got something on it you couldn't get off they would be willing to help as well.

Just ordered the Montana in brown. I was drawn in by how beautiful it looks, but I'm a bit nervous that it will be too thick for my liking. I've never owned a quality belt before so not sure what im getting myself into 😬
It is very thick... I love it. However, it took some getting used to. It has to wear in a bit. Which is weird to think with a belt. I liken it to wearing a duty belt for the first time. Hips might not like it for a little bit, but I wear mine every day and couldn't be happier.
It is special. It's simple. I appreciate the way it looks but you kinda have to really like leather to appreciate it. Also be prepared for a hefty break in. It takes a little bit to get comfortable. Hurt my hips for a couple weeks lol

Hanks reccomeds 2+ size for carry and 1+ size for regular wear and work. My Pant size is like 33 waist, and I'm happy with a 34-inch belt even when carrying.
