A genuinely beautiful video, amazing effort, well done. The end photo of you and the person you ran in with made me cry a tad, you both worked so hard and crossed the line together. Well done again
Fantastic, well done that really is something special. These efforts to push the limits of what you're physically and mentally capable of are always so interesting. What a great way to get out and see the world. The pain and the tiredness always slips away and is replaced my good memories (which always tricks you into doing another!). Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the comment Adam and very true about the memories of pain and tiredness slipping away, I'm already busy planning the next few adventures and next years race calendar 😂
I am a complete beginner runner, not even got to 5k yet, which I know would be a tiny stroll to you, but just wanted to say that I really enjoyed watching this. Admittedly I did question your sanity a bit, but it was an inspiration. Thankyou
@@paulriddell5959 ahh! Well in that case, great job! I thought the music choices were superb - set the tone just right and got everyone in the right mood - well done!
Congrats on getting in - have you done it before? I didn't make it through the ballot this year (very upset about that!) so I'm currently shopping around for some different races in July next year.
Absolutely fantastic! I was so slow (22 hours!) I missed a lot of the support at the back end of the 50. What camera did you use, and how did you carry it and poles, and how did you keep swapping from filming front to back? Awesome job though! 👏
@@ThePauldavies30 congratulations on completing it! In the words of Marc Laithwaite “a finish is a win!” I used the Insta 360 X3 with the invisible selfie stick - great piece of kit. Then I used the Insta 360 GO 3S for hands free shots at aid stations.
