I cry so hard when listening to this song. My husband, best friend since we were 14 years old. Walked out the door October 17th, 2023, thinking he would only be gone a few days , but his family took advantage of his condition, and I haven’t seen him since. He has Parkinson’s, and was diagnosed with dementia three years ago. They took my husband and they have wasted precious time for both of us, I am so devastated!!! Lawyer fees are costing me. The law in this small town is despicable, because they don’t have to investigate a thing.😞💔 Please pray that he returns home to me🙏🏻❤️
I sincerely hope God fills the void in your life and you will find someone to keep you company. We all need miracles in our lives. Yes, we do. Best of regards
Probably doesn't help but I do understand. I've had 2 wives die and the 1st time there was absolutely nobody there for me. Good luck. Hope it gets better.
@@steveelsholz5297 Wow, I'm sorry, I have only my 2 sisters, and I feel alone most of the time, its the hardest thing I have ever been through! I hope you found your way to some happiness..
I came here because my precious mother just died and this was her favorite band of all time. I came here to listen to the same song she always sang to me just to feel close to her again. I know your pain and sorrow. You are not alone. I pray God helps you and takes all your grief away....
Correct. Many so called songs of love and relationships when listened to with a higher power narative attraction make so much more sense and bump up the quality of the song. Boston's "A man I'll never be" is an outstanding example of this principle.
I came to a similar realization when I experienced the epiphany of truth resulting from my conscious decision to stop living a lie and doing "The Right Things For The Wrong Reasons" and just accept myself without the need to make others happy by acting like I was somebody else. The courage to be honest gave me the patience to correct misinformed prior life information and all the dysfunctional subconscious applications thusly engendered. Boston's, "A Man I'll Never Be" exhibits the SELF-SPIRIT dialog mentioned earlier.
The truth is hard to swallow. That is what the wall of love is for ... there is no god that is a truth so be love if you wish all the love you've been given is meant for you ... love yourself and you will see the love you have for others. You need no god for that. Only awakening.
At 75, I'm starting to appreciate James Thurber's wisdom when he says, "It's better to know some of the questions than all of the answers." My mate of 44+ years is a big help with this because she's wired to first ask questions. As a man, I thought I had to know the answers. But, as I look out at the state of our world, I'm realizing that it's above my pay grade to keep trying to get answers. Instead, the fruit of my contemplative practice is drawing me inward to see outward...from within a quiet inner space... Thanks so much for your beautifully crafted video! tOM
This is a timeless song. I woke up this morning and had to listen to it. A song from my generation. It means so much to so many people in different ways. It fills their hearts with hope and faith of finding great love. I believe it is the greatest love to love ourselves and we can find it in our hearts, helped by the power of the immense love that is a higher source. We are a part of that and must look to find it. Love to all.
Lyric/music parallels: "It's not the way that you say it when you do those things to me, (when God inspires), it's more the way that you mean it ... when you tell me what will be..." "O God our hearts are (so) restless... until they rest in Thee." (A quotation of St. Augustine.) Thought I should share this with you Debby, had just posted it as a comment and then read down some of the comments and noted yours.
Love this song, takes me back to my youth, the late 60's early 70's. I was a kid, with no worries about bills. I'm in my early 60's, with no worries about bills. Thank you for the good music and good times...
This Band I put them right next to The Beatles. I grew up with the Beatles in 1964, this Band had the same qualities as the Beatles. Their music and Songwriting ability Priceless. When I first heard them in 1968 Wow, Justin Hayward is a Legend in his own time Greg
My dad introduced me to the MOODY BLUES in about 1975 got to see them preform with him a couple time can still see him singing with them now.how profound this song fit his life he's been gone since 1987,I still love all there music and still see him cry singing this song
💜 A song I never tire of, a beautiful composition that expresses the crazy world we are in while in the quite moments of life we are moved by important relationships that helps us make sense of a world in chaos. Thank you Moody Blues for sharing your talents throughout the years.💜
The only reason I found this song is, because Steve Harris from Iron Maiden has stated that The Moody Blues was one of his idles and so I needed to find out why and boy,...do I now know know🤗 Great band, with scattered genius everywhere😜 Up the mighty Irons!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
When I was attending Uni. with my beloved Wife (God Rest her Soul) our school had a talent contest. I never thought I would win anything, and I did not. I got up and sang this song to my beloved. When I was done I guess people were amazed at me for singing this love ballad to her. I would always refrain from singing up to that point in time. For several days I had my fellow students I thinking I was singing about a dead person. I had to correct them on their thinking by telling them my Beloved was still alive.
My dear wife died when I was 42, and left me with 3 little kids in elementary school. It's taken me 21 years to find the tight lady to "safely lead me through..."
I agree with you Mr Joe Perry, they have produced some fine music that convey emotion. I can still tell you the moment I heard Tuesday Afternoon the first time over 40 years ago. That is how much of an impact this band on my life.

First concert that I went to in Oakland California was I was 16 GRAT band will always remember their great songs !!!!! QUESTION fit us now in this crazy area !!!!!
I recently bought a five compact disc set, The Moody Blues, 5 Classic Albums, Spectrum/Universal 4767196 (p2015) with A Question Of Balance 4768677 being the third disc. I don't recognize the songs. The 1st track Question is very different from most songs on this album and the other CDs in this set. I used to have all these albums on vinyl way back in the late 1970s and the song Question is just burnt into my memory and I do hear it occasionally on the classic rock FM radio. What gives here?
Just came upon your comment I'm 73 and all my life I've all ways wanted to go to Canada I won't get there now too old xx I'm ln coventry England born and bred
@@brendadrumm9451 As an avid golfer myself I've always wanted to visit England and Scotland to play some of the great courses there. Don't know if I'll ever get the chance.
Most miss the point and most avoid - Groups of yesteryear were on something special and could see things - they wrote about them. Listen to the lyrics of these guys and Pink Floyd. The message is there for those who dare to travel, Awesome music and lyrics from a time long gone!
I was a young child in sunny school. My city school teacher talk to us about rock ‘n’ roll. I have a favorite band with the Moody blues song. What is this song?
@susanbottomley7249 If that is true, and you really love the lyrics to this song, then do you know that many listed here are misspelled & some words are incorrect?

It's a shame you don't have correct subtitling. Can't you fix that? Anyway .. I don't think most people really understand the meaning of this song. It is an attack on people that sit on their asses waiting for everyone else to fix all the problems. Virtue is taking care of business yourself.
