In this excerpt from the full video presentation The Moon Out of Bounds, Steven Forrest talks about the meaning of the out of bounds moon in the natal chart. Download the full video here: www.forrestastrology.com/store...
I've got out of bounds moon too at 26°16’51 and left my home country of Mexico aged 16, and became Muslim at 17 while living in Canada. I'm now 35 and have lived in US and now UK 😅
I'm definitely the leaver...moon rules my IC and is in my 9th. I simply cannot understand buying a home and settling down. I'm restless and move every 2 yrs or so (Mars/Jupiter also in the 4th). I"ve cut off most of my family due to my healing, moving forward and they haven't, they're still stuck in toxic, dysfunctional patterns. My life goal was to live in different international cities every year or two, move around a lot, but due to circumstances, could never fulfill that goal. Not even close to being a genius though ;-) Moon is 27 S in declination, so pretty out there astrologically.
Here's to "out of bounds moon". My out of bounds Moon and Mercury allows me to think "out of bounds" (out of the box) however, not be successful at communicating its picture very well to those whose declination reside inside of the topical zodiac. Can I introduce "out of bounds" compatibility to you all? That is what I mean... if you will. Namas Day :)
Carl Young did not have the Out of Bound Moon, that's right. But his Sag. Mars in the XI was way out of bound, at nearly 28 degrees South. That may be part of his genious?
But Jung's Progressed Moon went over and under 28 degrees declination which is very wide indeed. And so it was actually "out of bounds" much of his life. Then that combined with his Natal Moon being in the 3rd square Uranus. (And remember: Uranus spins sideways! literally!)
mmmh maybe the progressed moon counts. Especially if strated to go OOB when he was still young --under 25. Otherwise that cannot make you a genious, I think.
Have my cancer Moon out of bounds and I also have my Jupiter out of bounds in the sign of Cancer which from my understanding is very rare and I would like more information on it if possible because I could not find anything on the internet about it at all on RU-vid on Google none of the platforms have any information on it it'd be really nice to know how to work with it seeing as Jupiter is the most benefic planet
It's very rare for Jupiter to be out of bounds, and it doesn't go out of bounds often. It's important to think about what Jupiter is all about, rather than just thinking of it as "the most benefic". Stephen Arroyo's book Exploring Jupiter is a great place to start: amzn.to/3yX8A7I - and for more on the meaning of out of bounds planets, check out my talk: www.astrologyuniversity.com/shop/search-by-astrologer/tony-howard/intro-to-out-of-bounds-planets/ and also this blog post: www.astrologyuniversity.com/those-wild-out-of-bounds-planets/
ugh...I have 3 planets out of bounds - Moon Mars and Uranus. The moon is something like 28.40 declination. Not to mention it's on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer. Freaky freaky Moon. I also have my Saturn and Jupiter I think at ~22 degrees. I left a lot of opportunities that left people dumbfounded. Now I'm thinking of leaving the continent. Also I've been quite the "criminal" in my time, nothing serious, some graffiti here and there and jaywalking all day every day. I hope I won't do some stupid sh!t, because honestly ~70% of my thoughts involve hurting people. Maybe not really that many, but it's always those thoughts that I'm made aware of. I really need to get my chart read by a professional.
While that may be your experience, it's important to recognize that it won't be everyone's. Being out of bounds can just elevate what's already there, so if the person is empathetic, being out of bounds could ephasize that even more. Keep working on developing empathy. You can get there!
