Did they ever leave the desert?
It's finally done!! I am in love with this project and I'm so happy with how it turned out!! This has taken me around a month and a half to complete and I'm so glad it's finished. I feel like I learned a lot and definitely improved over the course of making this. Anyways, I hope you guys like it!!

This is an animatic sort of video that follows GoodTimesWithScar and Grian through the events of 3rd Life and Double Life, which is a Minecraft SMP series created by Grian, where a bunch of other content creators like Hermitcraft creators and people from the Empires SMP play Minecraft together. This is very similar to hermitcraft animatics, animations, and other hermitcraft content.

I like the detail of Grian's wings changed from white to black, signifying the change where Grian cared about Scar in 3rd life to ignoring Scar in Double life. The scenes that both characters experience are also nice. :D

Stop making me cry over a Minecraft series again 😭 But seriously, this is so beautiful, i love your art style. The way Grian was so happy with Scar in s1 vs in Double life when he was doing his best to keep his distance while still keeping them alive was so well portrayed it hurt.

This whole thing is beautiful. I love the detail of Grian and Scar growing closer together, the more time they spent in double life. Like Grian cheering for Scar when he clutched or Scar comforting Grian after BigB died. Also the getting closer when you flashed through the lifes... just brilliant!!!!

I like how you included Grian having to go off the cliff after the cactus ring, a lot of animatics don't include that. This was done oh so well and I cannot take it, all the scenes in this are amazing. I love how excited it shows Grian for Scar when he got that water bucket clutch. I paused so many times during this to see each frame so well

Oh my LORD THIS IS AMAZING!!! I love how when scar was green he didnt have his scars yet and grians wings turned gray when he lost interest in double life. This made me so happy and i teared up at the end as this is my favourite song. Your art style is stunning and i loved this so much! I'll be watching this over and over i bet!

This is insane! I love the character designs for different seasons and all the other little details. The little heartbeat line in the back when they die in double life was subtle but genius. And the expressions and everything was great! Love your style!

uh I- Night dream THIS LOOKS SO COOL my favorite frames are 1:24 2:43 and 3:12 (the tears as he’s falling 🤌). I love how you drew scar for both 3rd life and double (but I really like the double design) the colors are gorgeous the expressions are perfect the poses looks sick (all of them) you did amazing on this, the song is very fitting too.

I've always loved The Crane Wives, this was the first song I actually heard from them I stumbled onto Grian's channel, specifically hermitcraft 7. And I watched when 3rd Life came out, and strangely saw this song as like the Desert Duo theme song. I love your use of it and the stories you showed in this video.
