I wouldn't necessarily full on say that Dazai's abuse towards Q and Akutagawa is Mori's fault, since I agree when you say 'they ca think for themself.' But the point of this is mainly to show the abuse cycle,, the abuse Dazai endured from Mori caused him to inflict the same abuse to Q and Akutagawa.
