I know the defense wasn't great for the first half but honestly that didn't worry me at all or think ohhh no are defense might not be that good this year. I just think it was a case of Ravens having a great game plan for the cover zero scheme. And that Lamar is just that good. Also have to think about Jones still being out and him being a top 15 type CB in the league. Which is forcing the defense to play Needham on the outside when he's a slot CB. And Kohou and undrafted rookie. Seemed like in the second half Boyer adjusted the defense and it really helped. As all the Ravens really had in the 2nd half was that 75yd TD run.

When the news of Flores being fired first happened I was really against it but after a month or so I decided it was probably for the best and now that seems to be 100% true. For a number of reasons the first being he seemed to have zero clue how to get a offense in place. First year was fine as they weren't expecting to win. But then he brings in a dinosaur for the second season. Then switches it up yet again and has 2 OC which is just so stupid even more so when neither called plays before. Last thing a young QB needs is to try and learn system after system and be coached by guys who have no experience. Then you have the fact that Flores seemed to only be interested in bringing in defensive players as opposed to O-Line, RB or play makers to help Tua. Sure some might blame Grier but I'm sure he was working with Flores asking him what he wanted for the team. And then last you have him being against Tua from like the start which again is never gonna help a young QB to have a coach who doesn't have your back. Not saying Flores wasn't done dirty by Ross but even without that he wasn't right for the team. Mike seems like the perfect fit. A offensive HC who actually connects with his players unlike like Flores who players said it was hard to form a bond with him. As soon as he comes in they sign two O-Line players, trade for the top WR in the NFL. Get two quality RB all to support Tua. And he has formed a bond with Tua and has done everything to try and get the most out of him and build him up. So many times in this game where it was just refreshing to see a HC with balls on offense. Going for it on 4th and 1 down 21-7 on your own 30 instead of punting. Actually looking to throw the ball past the sticks on 3rd and long instead of the past where it seemed hey throw it 5 yards and just pray someone can get to the sticks. Like the 3 and 13 TD to Gesicki. Feel like Flores and his OC would have said hey screen pass to setup a FG to make it a pointless 28-10 game. Or at the end of the game feel like Flores would have said hey lets just get into FG range not risk a turnover and play for OT. As compared to trusting Tua and playing for the win.

It may be that going for it on 4th wins more games than you lose from it. Bigger picture, if it makes sense to just do it.

Coaches go for 4th downs in their own territory because these are Madden players grown up. We been doing that shyt in games since Madden was on Genesis.

I am honestly shocked... That this show, of all shows, is giving Tyreek Hill a pass on his wretched past - punching and choking a pregnant woman (he pled guilty, he did it, no video).
