The Mortals of Nurgle - Maggotkin of nurgle lore 

I love the point you mentioned towards the end. Nurgle followers aren't all warriors, schemers, or power chasers. They can be farmers, poets, teachers. I love that. The cannon for my nurgle force is that the leader wasn't a warrior, but a Mason. He built homes and structures for the dawn bringer crusade he was apart of. As the magical leaders of the crusade became corrupted by nurgle and it spread, he knew that they were still HIS people and they needed a home.

Nurgle intrigues me more than anything else. I'm reminded of the superstitions and religious views that came out of the black death during the middle ages. A whole worldview came out of coping with death and pestilence, a sort of reevaluation of life itself and its meaning. I'll be curious to explore Nurgle more. Korn and Slanesh seem like the extroverts; simple minded and fast, whereas Nurgle and BigBurd have an interesting nuance to them.

Nurgle feels like the chaos god that had thought and nuance put into it.

Nurgle seems like a nice guy

What I find fascinating is the fact that Nurgle "saves" people. The other gods you need to impress or prove that you're useful. Nurgle seem to be able to take pity on them and want to "help". The twist is that it's often from diseases and plagues that he himself made.. But hey, still! I've always loved the relationship he seem to have with his followers. Throne of Nagash had the order of the fly, very regal and honorbound nurgle knights- loved that take. Also, gotrek faces a nurgle knight hero with a plagubearer bard squire who played a violin. So great.

I like the idea, that these tribes and peoples can totally be in the most desperate of circumstances. They will be on their last leg before Nurgle will help them. In a way, Nurgle corrupts them by giving them that last resort. It’s both so sad and also so human, it shows when people give up in a way they give in to a corruptive force. Nurgle is pretty poetic. Definitely my favorite force of chaos for that. Or at least tied with Khorne for me.

Lord of Plagues is my favorite unit. The reason why is because I like how bloated and aggressive they're and you could also make cool characters for narrative games in my sense. You could also make them not aggressive and make them these somewhat joyful and yet gift bringers who wish to not strike down there enemies but to greet them with Nurgles' gifts

I'll be running into them later on in the Soulbound Campaign me and my group are doing Shadows in the Mist as Blood Tide foreshadowed it with us having to sink a Leviathan-class creature corrupted by Nurgle

I was not that much into Age of Sigmar, but your lore videos have convinced me t o start collecting Chaos for age of Sigmar, originally i was only going to collect Orruks, but now I have a chaos army for each faction, thank you for your videos. I really appreciate how you notice the irony, nuances and logic behind why a character or faction would embrace chaos in a brutal world like the age of Sigmar ,Warhammer background.

Skullreapers cause I love Khorne and they are the most khornate of all mortals. TT wise

Just started nurgle and it’s definitely the blight kings or the plaguebearers

Question - If demons are all fractured off parts of their Chaos god, and completely unable to make the free choice to abandon their parent god, then which Chaos god is Be’Lakor fractured off from, and how is it that he has struck out on his own?

As someone leaning towards tzeench or slaanesh this is still awesome work. Idea for another cool video; could you cover converts from other gods? Not just Sigmar or order gods but other chaos gods. What does Slaanesh do about someone going to Tzeentch instead? I know there's chaos undivided but what if instead of 1 or 4 a follower has marks of 2 or 3 of the gods only?
