@@TroyCote That is the exact setup I use for A-rigs and big glide baits 65lbs braid with Tatula 300. I love the low profile baitcasting feel with the 24-28 lbs drag which is overkill but may be useful for fighting bigger fish. I use it for Striper hoping to hook a big one!!! Can't go wrong with a Curado 200k very reliable!!!!
@@arsenal_tackle_fishing I Live in Massachusetts and we're iced in and locked up till Late march. Got my PB last May on the tactical wake 210 from tactical bassin it was 7 15oz They take a long time to grow up here.
@@TroyCote Damn 7 15oz is big!!! Almost 8lbs thats a great PB!!!! Hope you break your PB this upcoming spring 2024!!!! Throwing big baits and getting big bites!!!!
From my personal experience could be different from others but with 795 Fury I purchased broke/snapped 20 inches from the tip after casting a A-Rig maybe 2-3oz it was my 5th to 8th cast on the river caught fish on it before it broke I loved it very parabolic and soft top to pin stripers. The 806 has never failed me once I throw A-rigs, Deps 175-250, S-wavers 168s and it handles everything even top water for heddon super spooks which was great for striper fishing with 50-80lbs braids handles amazingly. 806 is almost same like 795 on steroids but the 795 is a lot softer tip to midsection 795 would handle fine for top water more bend for jerking top water lures.
