Yeah, Great job on managing this your selfs. I'm wanting to do the same thing on my 96 T-100. My whole front end needs rebuilding. Shocks, brakes, boots, bushings. I plan on keeping her for a long time.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but one of your front end noises will be those blown out sway bar end links. And your steering rack appears to be leaking. Solo motorsports in Covina rebuilds steering racks. Just had them do mine!
@@overlandingworld I’m a not to add my sway bar back on. Was just up the 395 and while I haven’t had it on for years, looking for a tad more stability with my rtt being heavier than previous
A big issue with auto-lockers is when you are on slippery off-chamber trails. They will lock under power and the vehicle will have a tendency to slide down hill (this is true with selectable lockers when locked too). Open differentials tend to hook better and keep you on the trail. Driving slow with less power may keep the auto lockers from locking.
