The most AMAZING performances of the 2021 Disc Golf Season 

I keep having to ask myself, "did I really just see that?". So much history written this year! I'm stoked for the next season.

Drew Gibson's final round putting at the Tour Championship was insane, he was absolutely locked in.

The ones that still give me chills are of course Conrad's Holy Shot, Mason Ford's park job, and Nathan Queen taking down the tour championship.

That was an incredible season. The future of disc golf is so bright.

I still get goosebumps watching Conrad's throw in.

What a great time to follow discgolf... So many players at the top of their game... We have the superstars, young guns and not so well known beasts... And mr. Joe Mez giving unblieveable coverage to us!!! 2022 is going to be hotter than hell...

I've probably watched James Conrad's worlds shot on hole 18 over a hundred times and I still get chills.

Ya'know...each of those are Epic and may remain as such for a long time...but James'.......that's like one of those things we will be seeing for decades to come. It'll be one of those "Remember when" moments where we talk about how far DG has come and what YEAR began the GLOBAL TELEVISED COVERAGE of the sport. Jomezpro....... YOU ARE THE BEST PERFORMANCE of 2021!!! You made the grungy, hangout, sandal wearin log-jumpin-beer-drankin FUN game of DG Mature. I loved playing after work in my Blue-Collar clothes with sneakers on for a quick 9, or getting up at 4am to travel two states to play with friends at 7AM basically in sweats....but the Sport is now all grown up and ready for the BIG TIME and I KNOW that Jomez is THE most important aspect of that transformation (outside of the players being ridiculously f-n amazing). Your dedication to always improving and growing WITH the sport, along with your passion for just simply BEING the BEST! THANK YOU from the center of my Disc!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For some reason a Jomez video was on my recommends last...January? Couldn't believe I watched the whole thing! Next I was watching whole weekends. Took me a while, but in September I got my first discs, the Innova starter pack. 46 and overweight, I lost 35 pounds, and today made my first par for the course. Thanks for the lifechanging media, Jomez!

The coverage this season produced more teary-eyed moments for me the than Big Hero 6. The Conrad throw-in, Mason just annihilating with the weight of the world on his shoulders, and especially DGPTC. There's something about Nathan that is highly relatable. I know what an amazing backhand looks like but I think that Nathan seems more relatable because of my brain's unfamiliarity with the lefty form.

Would have love to see Connor Oreilly performance he won a very deserving title on a punishing course!!

Nathan Queen's Tour Championship was epic. Four straight rounds of amazing disc golf.

2021 was a great year of disc golf for not only the long time fans, but new ones too! The tour is loaded with such talent. Future of the sport is nothing but bright!🥏🔥

If we’re talking about best performance, it’s Nathan Queen at the DGPT Championship. If we are talking about the best season, it’s Eagle or Ricky.

Worlds with Paul and Conrad absolutely BATTLING through the back 9 was so crazy. Obviously the Holy shot and park job in the playoff was out of world

I may go back and watch world's again, at least the final round. In the moment it just seemed like McBeth had it under control but it was a battle the last 7 holes. Beyond epic

Queen, Gibson, Hammes, and Klein are gonna destroy things in 2022. I’m excited to watch.

Jomez..I got an idea! (lol) How about a video series: "Historic Rounds/Tournaments in Disc Golf" ! Many times, fans only get snippets of comments or articles (on YT, UDisc, or reddit or chats) how this or that player did something amazing at X tourney in Y year. It'd be cool to know/see the full background of who, what, when, how, etc. they accomplished a 'historic' round/tourney--like Dickerson's GMC (course record) win; Klein's Maple Hill win; Queen at DGPT; of course, JC's Worlds and the greatest shot of all time. Background, plus commentary, plus visuals/video would be tremendous! Instead of just a highlight compilation (which was enjoyed for sure!), perhaps background can be something like player history, tourney history, where the player was in the season/career and professionally (and personally if they want), why their round/tourney was 'historic', etc. Players could even join in commentary (that'd be cool! but also tough on you guys..but cool nonetheless haha). I'd personally love CDick to chat with Big/Sexy/or Uli about the Maple Hill course records rounds and fending off Wysocki; or JC doing 'director's commentary' about what he was thinking or feeling with B/S/U at World's; etc. So much could be fed to the perpetually starving DG hordes you've created! Something else cool could be each Jomez Superstar do their own "Historic Round" choice and commentary--Uli, Jerm and Sexy would all already know the background and be passionate about why they think that particular round is historic. It doesn't need to be a very long video--I'd think 15-25 mins would be ideal for me personally. Not all the holes need to be in it too--just the holes/rounds that make it historic. Commentators can also give background about the particular hole and how that golfer played it to perfection or what struggles, etc (y'all know haha). If anyone's gotten this far--especially the badasses at Jomez--thanks for reading and considering. I, and I think many others, would love more in-depth context of the "disc golf drama" of historic rounds! :D Cheers and thanks Jomez!

What a great year of disc golf! James Conrad owns the highlight of the year in my opinion.

James shot at worlds was absolutely amazing but Nathan winning the tour championship was a better overall story for me, the ultimate underdog performance.

Don't get me wrong Conrad winning worlds best moment in 2021 but Nathan queen to win the tour championship as the 28th seed you will never see a seed that high win it again probably the most craziest year in disc golf history 2022 will be epic

A great review of shots but here's an idea, have two videos for each of these highlight reels, one with the god-awful trance music and another without the extra horrible audio track that doesn't also drown out the commentary. Put em in two different RU-vid Playlists and give us an option please!

The Holy Shot is always great. But it’s even better when you see how James and Paul were fighting the whole round with Nate lurking for a bit of it. It was one amazing shot in an even more amazing final round.
