Arguably, one of the most beautiful BMWs ever made was the 1970ish 3.0 CS. I am extremely surprised this is not in your lineup of beautiful German cars.

Really? No Borgward Isabella TS Coupe, the car that saved the time-honored Borgward company by being a great success? It's a stunning design and one that deserves to be remembered. More than 200,000 Isabellas were made for crying out loud!
I love the mkI golf, but I rarely see one these days without the oddball small wheels they put them. Guess I'm out of touch with what is considered cool these days, but to me it ruins the looks of the car.
There are many kind of tastes. There was one car that i would call beautiful. BMW 507. I would ad Fiat Dino coupe 2400 and Austin Healey 3000 easily in that list.
If you bought for yourself a 300 SL Gullwing, then you bought a Pagoda for your wife, daughter, mother, girlfriend, mistress, concubine or secretary ... Pagoda was uniquely Femininely looking Machine. After so many years, she still looks that way ... it was, probably, the most good looking feminine car that was ever built ...
The last one is AUTO Union, NOT "Audi Union!!! This is the same company who build Porsche, & Volkswagen. As for that white Mercedes 500K, that one has a FORD engine!! The Mercedes engine is very different.

Get it right (slow in, fast out) and that rear weight bias gives phenomenal traction out of corners. Rear-engined Porsches have been crushing the opposition for nearly 70 years for a good reason!
Auto Union, not Audi Union ;-) In 1932, after the world economic crisis brings together the four car brands Horch, DKW, Audi and Wanderer to the Auto Union. The Union and three Brands in this Union has long disappeared, After war the logo with the 4 rings only lives at DKW cars, but in 1965 DKW was renamed Audi.
