FinnSnow Wowww! Mesmerizing! Dude! best vlog thus far. I literally zoned out while watching those drone shots and wow that is one crazy beautiful islet! I almost forgot there's a place called Biliran in the Philippines I had to Google where it's located. And you didnt end it there, the time lapse of the sunset fading out to pitch darkness was superbly done. The storm and the morning after, this is almost like a mini-movie it was so good, I'm sharing for the first time. That last view of the sunrise was also a great pick. Great editing work at the beginning of the video. The only part that I would probably critic was the robotic movement of the drone footage. I don't know if that's something that could be dealt with.
calling the attention of the philippine department of tourism. please support finn financially. he is promoting the country through his vblog. please support vbloggers like him instead of hiring the services of advertising companies.
@Varmando Varuso i don't think he has bad intentions, as a Filipino and we are very much previlige that someone like Finn promotes the Philippines so I don't think it's fair for you to call it rubbish that's his opinion and it's up to our department of tourism how to promote the country I'm sure they also know how this people like Finn dedicated their time for our country and in return get paid in RU-vid ads. So please just stop the CRAB MENTALITY nothing wrong with voicing out
True...Vloggers, like Finn Snow, have been promoting the Philippines to the world. His excellent drone shots and cinematograhic views of the many islands of our country are fantastic. None from Dept of Tourism can't cover such videos. We're blessed...Kudos to you, Finn!
I don't think I can find the right words to describe how impressive this video is. Even after 17 minutes, I was left wanting it to go on.... Your commentary about the peacefulness really touches the soul! I am so impressed, I wish I could give this video a million thumbs up! 💗
Yes sir, our environment is clean and fresh compare to other beaches. A place where you can sink your emotions &problems. It's a mind blowing . If you try to view between Samar and leyte islands you will amaze the greenery scene of the nature. The mountains and the rock formations. Welcome to our Island sir.
Paradise Found!!! Finn...just want to thank you for sharing this epic video with us. The editing, the cinematography, and the music were all on point. The views from the hill top and the drone were just amazing. Especially loved the fading sunset shots. Sorry about the storm, but just think...locals have to deal with that all the time. It's part of life on a tropical island. Thanks again, my brave friend!
I went to Sambawan Island and spend 2 nights there the first week of May of this year and experienced the same violent force of nature of a tropical thunderstorm that was out of this world. I was at the top of that same hill on my first day taking photos of the setting sun and decided to hang around a little bit longer for an opportunity to take some pictures of an approaching thunderstorm. Little did I know how fast this storm will progress to the point I got stuck there due to the pouring rain, the incredible lighting show in the darkness with a DSLR camera in my hands. I was literally force to run for my life realizing the predicament I was in being at the highest point on the island and cowering under a shelter with a towering concrete spire above it with lighting bolts all around me. I made it back to the safety of my hut in one piece albeit my camera dripping in rain water. It's ironic it was also the last island I visited during my 6 months of traveling the Philippines. I have to agree with you, Sambawan Island was one of the most beautiful if not memorable island I've ever set foot on. Kudos to you on your vlog Finn. instagram.com/fractalradii/

Your hard work and talent definitely shown on this one. This one is getting shared in my FB page. This Island will be added to my list of islands to visit thanks to you.
I am so touched of this video. To be disconnected sometimes to everything in this world is necessary in order to ponder how things gonna work.. Thanks to you the creator of this video. Whoever you are, I truly give this video two thumbs up .
Stunning view...cinematography is a 10/10. What else can you ask for..your right sometimes it is nice to be alone specially in a paradise like that. Greetings from Leeds UK
Thanks Finn for showing my own country that never knew such beauty. My wife and I in the US really setting a new goal to see my country for the first time in 40 years.
This is by far my favorite on your Philippine Series or myabe the best of all your vlogs. THIS IS IS JUST ABSOLUTELY DOPE AF 🔥🔥🔥 The cinematography, drone footages and the sound editing is spot on! Well done man. And you know what it's so easy to connect with you, you let yourselve vulnerable that makes you more genuine. That's what I get from you man.
I've been to many places in the Philippines and its astonishing how you discover the paradise many Filipino has not known yet. It is not even a tourist destination. Vlogs also get better and better and the drone kick ass.
This is an amazing video. It felt like I'm part of the journey. You're a great vlogger, Finn. I like your brand of travel vlog. It has soul in it. I like it when sometimes our travels become philosophical and spiritual. You did it without sounding cheesy. You're also able to expose the hidden treasures of the Philippines. I've been around Philippines too but never this deep. You have gone deep bro! I always tell my ka-locale to explore Philippines before getting out elsewhere because they'll be surprised how beautiful our country is! And you exposed it so wonderfully!
Finn I am your new subscriber from Northern California. I grew up in the Philippines but never heard of sambawan. I thank you for showing the beauty and kind people of the Philippines. I very much enjoy your vlogs.

Thank you Finn for showing us the hidden beauty of the Philippines. You are really making a huge effort and making us realize what are we missing. Your long days of stay is worth it. Keep Safe! Kudos!(^_-)
wow finn! i can’t believe you’ve been to the beach i’ve been too when i was still a kid! i’ve enjoyed that beach so much since it was my very first time to step on a white sand beach & i don’t even remember if boracay was already known at that time but really i’m so proud & so amazed by you! imagine, you being a foreigner, to feature such an amazing island from where i’ve actually been?? & being able to see that island Maripipi in your content is epic! i’ve spent summer times there when i was a kid!! oh wow! really finn...you are such an amazing traveller/vlogger hands down!! thank you so much finn! you truly are one of a kind! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 #itsmorefuninthephilippines 😍😍😍
Amazing!!!! Your video is breathtaking because you speak the universal language of peace, joy and love. You are one with the sea, sky and mountains. Wow! More that being a talented young man, you are insightful and inspiring, Finn. Great job!
Hello! Finn,I looked for this video after I saw you and Sherlyn met an OFW who was from Biliran and mentioned your visit to Sambawan Island. I definitely agree that Sambawan is an amazing island beach. I visited it once last 2011 with my colleagues and there was no stairs to climb to the lighthouse and we just hold on to the tall grasses for our dear lives,I am happy to see the improvements they made for the tourists. I will definitley visit again our pride in Biliran, I remember myself not wanting to leave the island because of the peace it brought to my soul. God bless you and Sherlyn on your beautiful trips.
in 2013 , the strongest typhoon passed directly in Tacloban,Leyte which is near Naval, Biliran. It's Super Typhoon Category 5 . What you experience is just a local thunderstorm. It's a common weather situation every late afternoon to evening due to the warm weather in the morning.
Thank you Mr FinnSnow. I can tell you many Filipinos don't know how beautiful Philippines is. I can honestly say this. I am one of them. Thank you and God bless.
in the island of leyte and Samar, many beautiful beaches places and island that not expose yet to the public except to the local staying their, that's how make you feel peace and love the nature and environment of this place hope it will preserve its natural beauty but the thing I love most is the sunset the beauty of the sky reflecting to the water so wonderful how I miss the island
dazel varola We have many of that too in Panay islands. God seperate these islands from each other for a raison. Not to disrespect but while Marawi is like Syria the other islands are peaceful and a paradise.
You're so right about spending and experiencing for once in our lives being alone in this crazy world. No one else but you, no radio or tv, no internet, no technology, no human noise, just pure silence, peaceful, tranquility, etc. Ahhh, that must be so liberating and a truly rare experience. Beautiful Philippines and video. Thanks.
I feel every words you are saying about nature being the only one in it, i would say this is the best video you have ever done up to date, I think it is because you share how you feel - in doing so you are also teaching
AWESOME! Fantastic view, good music, incredible coverage of the whole adventure, amazing story, and not to mention a handsome vlogger! Truly inspiring! 👍👍
Hi Finn great video as always, I also enjoy non crowded beaches and their peaceful environment, keep enjoying and make sure to use sun block, it must be like 30 degrees there.
Thank you, Finn for featuring our island. It's part of maripipi island, the cone-shaped-island, Maripipi Biliran. It was even better when it was undeveloped, fish used to go near the shoreline. There are hammerhead sharks there as well as far as I know.
It was epic shot !!.. Brudda !. That Cinematic shots always got me.. !!. Its totally mind blown to see !!. 7,107 Islands in the Philippines ?? . There's alot!!
Amazing !! I'm blown away man . just went in by a fellow OZ vloger who recommended your channel. I'm so happy to have pressed the link provided. absolutely amazing footage . I'm going to keep watching and definitely pass on the recommendation. thank you for the inspiring work.
For th past 3 weeks, i started to watch the vlogs of FinnSnow on RU-vid mobile, i have appreciated the nature more than ever when watching more on TV. Among his videos, he has more files taken in the Philippines that made me more love to watch. I got goosebumps whenever i see the drone shots, so amazing. I am a nature lover of sunsets, skies, water that still photos i can only do when i am out. How i wish i could also have a drone and learn more that Finn is doing just for a hobby. However, i do not see myself as a vlogger / blogger. His videos are breath taking that i may he is a drone king. More power! #finnsnow
That's nature at it's best! We just have to respect it's beauty & power! Communing with nature surely makes us realize how little we are in the spectrum of things & makes us see everything in a different light. That feeling when you can't help but just be in awe & grateful for everything! Another epic vlog Finn with beautiful sights, great cinematography, music on point & a little suspense & drama in the end! Just perfect ingredients for an epic travel vlog!:-)
OMG that amazing sunset on the top 13:48 followed by sky transformation. Then nature lightning at night. wow, what an experience. Thank you for posting. Garry from California.
I have run out of adjectives to demonstrate my awe and appreciation for the magnificent majestic wonders of God's creations. You capture everything so well. I'm beyond impressed. I'm blown away!!!

I love the way the island was presented. The simplicity and serenity of the place and the storm reminds us that it is the challenges that mold us. No matter how hard it is and how scared we are everything will be alright. Kudos to another great vid, keep up the good work finn
