For those wondering: you cannot activate book of moon under dark simorgh and while I didn’t find a ruling for hamster specifically, you cannot activate shallow grave, so hamster doesn’t work under simorgh aswell. Pretty good card tbh
Sick deck and I actually really liked the paper deck profile rather than talking over the DB deck page. I love how you said this deck was similar to a modern deck and it is really clear to see how the decisions are similar to a pile deck. There are certain combos u can memorise, but it looks really free flowing. Even milling a card from armoury like wyvern, plague or an extra dark/wind can change or extend the combo which is awesome in a slower format.
This deck is really clean 🔥 Lots of little synergies that all work together and has a potent game plan! I'd love to try this out at locals, it looks sick!
the man just revived disaster dragon outta nowhere, holy... I mean we've seen dragon turbo countless times and sometimes even norleras dragons (hopeless dragon as we used to call it), but this... this is art!
Dark Simorgh was the card i built my deck around when it came out, I was such a fan. Back then I played a rose dragon turbo, that wanted to rose dragon while getting a wind and a dark in the grave to then set up simorgh. And I could that multiple times in a game. I love this deck so much.

@1:18:48 I am considering adding iron chain Dragon. In this situation you could have Plague then Drago. Synchro into iron chain, banish for redmed, summon dragon back. Iron chain can "climb up" any monster into redmed, also Wyvern and plague into chain, summon redmed, special summon back vywern.
Now I know why Keegan took 8 days to post! Cause he cooking up one of the most devious lists known to Edison. There needs to be Edison lore such as the days when monster decks like this and vayu turbo were born.
Finally power pickaxe is getting some love that it deserves. Absolutely controls both vayu turbo and frogs. I will say, especially if you run Power pickaxe in side deck, powertool dragon should be at least considered. An alternative way to search DDR might come up. Power pickaxe + Powertool is extremely good against Absolute zero/frogs/vayu turbo. Just a thought.
I've been waiting for someone to break Dark Simorgh! I've always felt it was a slept on card. Also, I know this is an aggro build, but Treacherous Trap Hole is a free pop 2 with no traps, might be worth squeezing in.
Now that you have had some more time with this deck. Is there anything you would change with the main deck? Examples: Maybe put in Necro Gardna, and another Dark Grapher? And maybe take out 1 E-Call, and Tragoedia? Or do you think this deck is just perfect as it is? 👀
Great idea/deck honestly. Wouldn't Gold Sarc be a good addition to this ? Like you either draw it early and set up whatever piece of exodia you want (future f , heavy , boss monster) or if you draw it later you can combo it off with ddr.
@@swank8508 well yeah , what I meant gold sarco would be good for was to MAINLY set up your wipe cards ( heavy , trunade ) the part about it being used with ddr was in case you drew it late , you know as in even if you draw it late it's not completely useless
I think you had an otk you could have done at 59:28. Trunade then banish stratos and redmd to summon simorgh. Ddr discard exploder summon stratos search mali, ddr discard mali summon redmd. Redmd bring back exploder, banish mali summon mali. Crash exploder into kalut, swing with Mali stratos simorgh redmd for 8100. Deck seems wild lol
Someone may have said it, but I think at 1:30:25 you could have banished Mali, summon plague, synchro lvl 8, special simorgh by banish strat and Mali and then special Drago, and I think it would have been game.
This deck is SO SICK MAN. I noticed one of the bigger issues you had was just being able to play through backrow, since you almost always seemed to have the gas otherwise. I wonder if even main-decking a trap stun or two would be worth it. Like many cards here, you have lots of discard outlets for them if they're dead or ill-timed. Even against frogs, it has utility against the discard traps.
How do you feel about gold sarc in this deck? Its kind of a neg, but can turbo out some simorgs, ive also tried sarc ddr kristya in some wild builds of this. Weird plague stack reasoning gate/ddr turbo deck
@@E3YuGiOh can’t you DDR the monster you banish? Like when infernity goes into leviair. Clearly not the same because it’s a minus but something to think about I guess.
Would gold sarc be any good for a deck like this? With how fast you get access to some of the combo pieces I imagine it could end up being a little too slow or make you unnecessarily neg if youre using it with ddr
This deck lowkey 0-10s vs the kristya eatos deck you posted, played with a friend today and the deck folded on 7-8 games straight. Not all decks have enough of a lineup to get severely impeded even if dark sim does come down.

It's not that easy to get a level 7 synchro, and you would much rather just synchro for a level 8 with plague. Also, having 6 copies of d.d.r is enough most likely.
Have you considered Return from the Different Dimension? Every time I resolve it in Diva Hero, I win. With how much banishing this deck does, it might be able to help you push for OTK
