Honorable mentions have to be 2016 Miners and Bowlers. Mass miners easily tripled max 11s for a while after release to the point where top competitive wars would ban them. Bowler spam also completely reshaped the base meta at th11 which has held until today.
TH9 was the best balanced, and the most fun when trying to plan war attacks. GoHo may have been the top strat, but GoLaLo was always my favorite. A golem with heroes, 3-5 wiz, and a few wallbreakers or a jump spell, and you took out the enemy queen, cc, and at least 1 air d, sometimes 2. Then you'd use lalo on the rest of the base.
u know as u go higher in townhalls u get stronger troops its legit every game in existance the main part making RR strong is the fact they break walls easily if u removed that the troop is pointless and would be better off using a golem

In the old builder base you could just drop a hero followed by witches behind at any corner of the base and the bats spawned by witches will just 3 star every single base. The strategy was so popular for years until they added a lava launcher.
The root rider nerf hurt a bit, but I stopped spamming that shit after the first nerf. This time, the attack evolved into something more like super bowler smash. Still 3 stars a lot of bases.
Tears... Hog Rider and Lavaloon attacks were my favourites in 2014, and I was th9. Stopped playing for a decade and now I'm back with my th10. Man, after all those years and so many updates; still, I gotta say this game feels awkwardly cozy.
Not Adding Lavaloon to this list is a War Crime 😂 (Edit:for the people saying its bad its not i could 3 star th11s as a th10 and i was able to push to FLL bc of this troop)
I remember when I'm TH9 I always used AQ and BK and barbarians and archer army. Back then where you can boost the troops by using the Hero ability 😅 spaming barbarians and archers are so fun

I still use mass Super hogs as a th13 player. In multiplayer battles, around 30% of my attacks are 3 stars, the rest are two stars. But when I get to tweak my army according to the base in wars, I almost always 3 Star. I have been using hog spam since th7, with only around 5 months of break.
I do think the blizzard attack strat is still good, especially around th 11-13. Really love it when the core defenses or majority of it gets destroyed.
When Brawl stars introduced that one Troop (You know the one) I think I was at Th8 when they came out and boy spamming them was basically the equivalent of Supper giants today if supper giants could sprint faster than sweats on cod Fun times indeed
My Mata strat (from TH11 until 14th) pekka with healers Imagine a group of tank troops being healed by several healers (I use Electric spell on air and I finish them off with a earthquake but to also weekend walls) Before that Giants, I figured out if you take out the defence first you'll 90% of the time get 3 stars but with pekka it's slightly harder due to how slow they move however since I'm rushed (troops/heroes/defences) I'm at TH14 with a half th10/TH11 base My hero's are th10 lvl (king is 45) my champion lvl 5 so yeah I've had to go back to the time I used E drags rather than pekka heal strat
Hogs were really OP because of how fast they are. Unlike other defense targeted troops like loons and giants, Hogs can cleanup after, meaning you don't need to waste army space with cleanup troops
You forgot to talk about two legendary strategies. The first is pekka hog. Pekka hog is op in th 8/9/10 And the second is aqh minhog. Aqh minhog can just blow-up all th 11/12/13 with just a little bit practice.
Yo!!!! i remember Withes skeletons being absolutely busted by Wardens aura... The aura made skeletons being more than two tapped by every defence, basically making MASSIVE Massattack!! I think this one was the most broken ever Idk how it was named...
I got attacked by the Bli-zard strategy but the player gave up after he placed his blimp and lava hound directly above a tornado trap which ended up destroying it and not even getting past the first layer of walls in my base 😂 Such an unlucky play
i actually didnt realise that lower level root rider is brown while lvl3 is green have been wandering why some rootrider is brown in colour while watching other people's battle replay
Bruh I still remember using gohog it's my nostalgia hit as I was th9 and my team requires me to 3 star in war or else we loose and I used gohog and i forgot to kill lava hound in opponent clan castle and 1 hog rider left and i builder Hut was left and that lava hound was following my hog and at 1 hp my hog clutched 3 star that was so cool moment i still laughs when I remember this moment while playing game
I literally just do every troop and tell it stops me to do it and I have enough room like I keep doing that it counts spells because I get so much good tap and I destroyed the attacks. Trust me every every freaking town war I’m going to get the seed machines it’s gonna be better.
Speaking of the Minecraft tnt block, the warden from Minecraft may have something to do with the grand warden from coc. Despite the fact that the warden is a monster and the grand warden is a hero.
