Bare knuckle boxing was never intended for three short rounds. In the old days the amount of punches landed was probably a lot less even though they could go on for hours. The fighters had to pace themselves. The modern bare knuckle fighting is lunacy.

It’s “safer” than traditional boxing due to the lack of gloves. Those few extra ounces on your hands make a big difference. But you do get cut up easier bare knuckle, and your hands will definitely get jacked up
