Press checks on make ready preach on. I learned the hard way sometimes I overstuff my magazines by accident and yes no round will chamber, I run up to my position pull the trigger and nothing. That back slap too its become a habit, I rarely clean my gun and that feed ramp gets dirty giving it a love tap on make ready because it naughty sometimes.
@@ballsymcbaggins8488 it’s a modified Howitzer Battle Comp belt! You can do it yourself without too much trouble, but it’s possible they may be offering it in the future….
I also press do the top round check when loading a rifle. Only thing I would add is to look at or feel the top round before inserting to load. Sometimes I'm using partially full mags, sometimes accidentally overloaded or underloaded, and I have a few mags that the top round is on the left. Plus, I usually don't remember what side the top round should be, especially on other weapon systems.
Thnx Guy! Love the M&P.. I have same mags & I only run 21 . I have gotten in the habit of pulling on my mags! Btw- I knew a guy that ran a XDS & He could shoot the Hell out of that gun. That was almost 10 years ago and He still runs them.
Thank you. I am a newbie and have had several of these malfuntions in matches. I had a mandatory reload where the mag dropped out and then another time after a reload had a click because it didn't go into battery. Now I know what to do to prevent it.
In January I recently switched to "Lancer AR Mags" I was at a gun store *Buffalo Bills Shooting Store, Sanford FL* & I was gonna buy like 4 or 5 pmags, it was my first time at this particular store so I asked the guy Me: sir, do you have any pmags? Store Salesman: sry we only carry Lancer Me: dang, nah I'm good for right now The salesman then turned on his charm and convinced me to buy a Lancer, he sold it to me so hard I wanted to go home and cook the mag dinner 😆 Their a lil more expensive so I only bought 2 of them... But they are definitely worth the extra money, Lancer is my new favorite mags
For awhile, lancer mags had issues holding rounds in if you dropped a loaded mag. You’ll find videos of people smacking the bottom of the mag and ammo flying out. I assume it’s still the case.
@@Peacock5.7.7 🤯 I had no idea, I've only put around 600 rounds though them so far but I haven't had any issues yet🤞 But mine currently have the smoothest insert and release out of any of my other mags, so far no failure to feed even though that's mostly an ammo issue, but so far so good, I'll update you after I hit 1000 rounds plus if they last that long
