Retired but I would of loved to build that stair case. Don't know the measurements but I believe I could of given them the spirals they wanted. Used to build them in Pam Beach. Good times. Plus I don't think our building code would have allowed your stair rail unless you put a lot more pickets into them.

I live in New Zealand and I know some of those gaps are too large to pass Health & Safety regs in this part of the world. I must admit though, love the design.

Loved the way you ended the video with the door collision repair! Accidents and screw-ups happen every day, your team gets that, and you all act on the solutions accordingly. That has to be big-time rewarding for you... it is great for us to watch. Love the work you do, love your team, love the way you make it all work. It is inspiring for hobbyist metal guys like me to see.

Tay, I worked in a fab shop for many years and even though I own a carpet cleaning company for the past 20 years one is thing is a for sure . As I approach 60 years of age and only in the past year I am teaching my daughter to take over and we all have those things we don’t want to talk about but I am very happy that you and your team don’t just edit them out. Not to sound creepy but I do appreciate your honesty and candid you and your team is. Sincerely Chris viningre from Ohio

Yes, the damn regulations will "git ya" every time, I'm Australian, and the Regulations just for a pool fence here are crazy, you can't have more than a 95 mm gap between uprights or Underneath the frame at ground level, crap like that. But I do like what you have made there, it looks really interesting. I think it will be stronger than the wooden one that was obviously there before.

Looks great but does it meet code? Just a CYA. The 4 Inch Sphere Rule refers to naturally occurring gaps and spaces within a railing system. The rule states that a 4” sphere should be unable to pass through any gap in a railing system. There are some significant gaps unless a glass panel is added. Love the design and craftsmanship.

And just a suggestion id reach out to evolution, they would be a sweet sponser. But if not i would atleast get their 15" cold cut chop saw, they are way faster than bandsaws. Ive had mine for awhile and if something were to happen to it i would get another one asap. They came out with a wooden style mitre saw but for metal just a few months ago or so that looks pretty awesome. Anyways just a suggestion great video!! Keep it up!

Gerday mate, Hay sorry to be a cranky 70 year old fart but gotta give the Chinese their due, that magnetic drill seems to have done everything you have asked of it, has it not? I'm not in favor of imports over home made, but Australia doesn't make much anymore. I'd rather my sons buy Milwaukee but still an import here. My no 2 son had a full roster of Dewalt cordleß power tools. As an Electrician he uses them heaps. There are so many home build sites that don't bother to install temporary power as everyone has cordless. However the Dewalt went through a real drop in quality and service so after many attempts at repair, he bought the complete roster of Milwaukee cordless professional tools and is satisfied that he did the right thing. But he tells me that Dewalt has picked up its game again but he is still happy with his new choice. Nuff here, just be nice to free tools and the people who give them to you. Peace out, Wayne

Everyone is talking about code like it's a nuisance rather than actually having a reason. 4" ball spacing is to prevent a child from getting their head caught or passing through and falling. Leave the openings big enough, they might as well leave them as just the frames. If the fabricator knowingly creates a code violation or knows that the owner is going to remove the glass panel after installation, they're still going to be open to liability. Not just as a matter of legality but of conscience. I couldn't knowingly create or accommodate a situation that has been established as a known danger. It's reckless. We watch overseas fabrication videos or the aftermath of natural disasters where codes don't exist or are ignored and there are real tragedies that might have been avoided.
