It shouldn’t be that difficult. You give Mixon half of each of the other twos stack. Then divide what’s already in the middle in half and one half goes to Mixon. Then divide the other half into 1/3rds and call in a day. The LOL part is counting up the blues. Shows why pulling a stunt like that just ends up slowing the game.
@@James-cs9sy he is actually correct. I thought he was incorrect because of 3 players chopping, but it still works out to be a standard 3 quartering, where he wins half of both players stacks. Imagine everyone had 2k, 6k into the middle, he wins 3k for the flush and 1k for chop, leaving him with 4k. With the shortcut, he wins 1k from each other player, leaving him with 4k.
I *think* this is right distribution of the 2 pots (M=main, S=Side). The "run it multiple times" thing really complicates things. Those dealers need to be sharp! Flush: 1st Run: 1/6M + 1/4S 2nd Run: 1/2M + 1/2S Total: 2/3M + 3/4S ShortStack: 1st Run (and total): 1/6M Other: 1st Run (and total): 1/6M + 1/4S
In my head it was easy, just go 4/6, 1/6, 1/6. But yeah being allin they each have different bets which need to be split. Not exactly simple to do in your head, that's for sure.
ANASTASIA, ANASTASIA, ANASTASIA!!! Hey Doug, ANASTASIA deserves a raise for 2 reasons!!! 1) You are making her deal at tables where it's ok to play 2k in blue chips and not have to color up!! 2) Well, look at her!!!
Slicer in the straddle called $25 (total $50), later folded Carter in the big blind called $40 (total $50), but later folded Total of $100 in dead money Mixson (+1) started the hand with $5700 Bob in the highjack started the hand with $1700 Llama on the button started the hand with $2445 These three players went all in preflop. Therefore, - The main pot contains $100 + 3 x $1700 = $5200 = M - The side pot contains 2 x $745 = $1490 = S, between Mixon with AT and Llama with AQ. The first board was double-paired, and therefore the main pot was chopped 3 ways, and the side pot chopped 2 ways. M/6 M/6 + S/4 M/6 + S/4 Meanwhile onthe secondboard, Mixon wins the main AND side, and so he gets M/2 + S/2. Net result: - Mixon gets 2M/3 + 3S/4 - Llama gets M/6 + S/4 - Bob gets M/6
@@XiagraBalls There's a much easier way lol That's way too complicated for no reason. It's simple... Effin Bob had $1750/2/3 = 291.66 + 100/2/3 = 16.66 = 308.33 ($308) Llama had $2445/2/3 = $407.5 + 100/2/3 = 16.66 = $424.16 ($424) Mixson gets the rest....
As a dealer i know this looks confusing. But if you make everything neat ans tify before hand ans take it step by step it makes it alot easier. Easier to split the pots of it everything is stacked neatly before hand. Helps if everyone at the table doesnt start trying to help you out and throw numebr out when ur concentrating.
I’m new to poker, can someone help me understand? How is the first pot spilt 3 ways when the best is Ace high? Wouldn’t the queens be kickers and they spilt 2 ways?
@@Shivian124 Thanks for the explanation, I was still thinking the kicker mattered forgetting that every hand could only count five cards so including the kicker would disqualify one of the pairs.
I thought Mixon was Hollywooding ATo, but then he shocked me by calling. Then Effin Bob goes in into the tank and calls an all-in and another all-in with AQo. Apparently, nobody folds in Texas.
It makes sense why my local casino doesn’t let you run it twice haha honestly I think the casino I go to would literally shut down if they had to divide that pot up.
@@fishinninja8273 That would work if they all have same stacks. Sadly, one AQ has $1,750, the other AQ has $2,445 and the AT has them both covered... So the pots are $5,250 main pot, $1,390 sidepot. Half of main pot gets chopped three ways on first runout, so all players get 1/3 of $2,625 ($875), half of sidepot ($695) gets chopped two ways between bigger stacks at $347 and $348. Second runout, AT wins all - half of both pots, which equals to $2,625 and $695 for a total of $3,320. Dealer also needs to verify all stack sizes and keep them in mind for dividing up the pots. Thankfully the largest stack had the blues, else it would have been even bigger mayhem. Your calculation would have given the small stack additional roughly $230 that he didn't win and thus ripping off both the bigger stacks by around $115. Still think it's easy? Edit: Forgot about the $100 in dead money from other players, so calculation is a little off, but point stands.
bob has 1700, llama has 2445, both are covered by mixson. which makes the side pot 1490 and the main 5200. working outside in like you're supposed to, if everything was ran twice, mixson chops first board and wins second for 373 and 745, llama takes 372 for being farther from the blinds. then the main is 5200, first board is chopped 2600/3 for 867 to mixson and 867 to bob for being closest to the blinds and 866 to llama. then second board is 2600 to mixson. Come to playground poker in Montreal, we have dealers like me who do this with passion and ease.
That’s impressive if you can do it in the heat of the moment with time pressure on and no calculator. Not saying you can’t. Just saying that’s impressive
@@jackspinner4727 i didn't use a calculator, come check us out. we run up to 3 boards and all our dealers are taught how to do it properly with certain procedures, our dealer school is not easy to pass.
As a Kentuckian, knowing what to mix your bourbon with is important. Ginger ale (Ale-8-1) is very underrated. KY Mules and old fashions are always a go-to. Is Woodford Reserve in other parts of the country seen as a high(er) end bourbon?
Im in the PNW and Woodford Reserve is seen as middle-tier, kind of in the Makers, Buffalo Trace, Jefferson's range. Not sure why they were flipping out on stream about it lol.
Honestly very easy chop. Step 1: A10 pulls back his outside pot bet Step 2: Dealer gives half of the players stack holding AQ to the player holding A10 and pushes back the remaining half to the other player in the outside pot. Step 3: Give Half of the main to the player holding A10 and then divide the remainder 3 ways.
i'm a math wiz.. here it is. First, figure out the main and side pots. Total pot is 6,825 according to the graphics. Side pot is the difference between the short stack and middle stack x 2:, so (2445-1750), 695 x 2= 1390. Main is 6,825-1,390=5,435 Side pot: A-10 wins: 350 (1st run) + 700 (2nd run) = 1,050 AQ (bigger stack) wins: 350 (1st run) Main pot: A-10 wins: 905 (1st run) + 2715 (2nd run) = 3,620 AQ (bigger stack) wins: 905 (1st run) AQ (short stack) wins: 905 (1st run) ALL ROUNDED TO NEAREST $5
Each of the players involved that doesn't have a flush just lose half their stack. Mixson covers. So first board is every one chops - easy. 2nd board Mixson scoops. I'm not sure how this is difficult - happens a lot - especially in 5 card PLO with many people all in.
Close, but not quite. Gotta divvy up the dead money that folded preflop as well. In any event, I agree with you that it’s much easier due to the player who covered the other two winning the 2nd board. If there was a heart/diamond flush instead, gonna take a while.
Separate main pot into two equal halves. For the first half, split three ways. For the second half, give all to Mixson. Separate side pot into two equal halves. For the first half, split between Bob and Llama For the second half, give all to Mixson. That about right?
Old guy has to overcall now, there is too much in the middle, 1250 to win 7700. Its a must, aq off will have at least 20-25% equity here vs ranges here. Going with natural range dispersion this is a call.
I couldn't play with these guys, it's like hurry the F up, you had all this time before your turn to decide what you want to do so you wait until its your turn to think? I'd troll them so freaking hard. When it was my turn I'd lay my head on the table and take a nap for a while before tossing in chips.
There was a side pot between the guy with all the blue chips and the guy that had A10. That pot had to be quartered first before quartering the main pot.....the problem was that there wasn't any side pots made before she ran it out so she had to do the math of both pots in her head
Sidepot goes to the winner at a rate of 66% to him and the blue chip guy gets last 34 % .. mainpot winner takes 50 % + another 33 % of the remaining pot .. or am i dead wrong ? :D
Mixson gets half of both their stacks since he won one board. And they all keep the rest as it’s a 3 way chop on the first board. Chop the rest of the chips from SB, BB and calls made 6 ways and give mixen 4 and the other two 1 each? 😂😊
Running more than once with more than 2 players is just stupid. Don't go all in if you're not willing to risk it. I would never run more than once with 3 or more.
The lodge let’s the players run the game Dealer’s really have no control So much betting out of turn and table talk sad to see this room run like this. But these games are made for RU-vid
Is that Margot Robbie dealing??! 😮 I wish the dealers in LV looked like that. And instead of the number of the chips can I just get her phone number?? 😂❤❤❤❤❤
