I've meet this guy and I can't speak how strong his faith is in God, but he was at the stronger men's conference this year. Hearing this gives me a little more perspective on his speech now over reading it and seeing a small clip. So for that Mike I appreciate you. But in the end I do agree with what Mike said where if that was what him and his wife agreed to make them the beat people they can be in their marriage then so be it. And I agree that many women have started one path liking then getting bored or wanting more and change it up. Do what works best for you and as he said as long as it glorifies God in way he'll be happy then do it.

I’m Catholic and live in Kansas City. I attend the Latin mass regularly and through that I’ve met Butker a few times as he also attends the Latin mass. He is a great guy and means everyone the best! He is one of the most humblest men on Earth, just look at how he praises his wife and is showering his wife with praises, and thank you’s. He even teared up when talking about her, now that is a man. Harrison Butker is the best kicker in the NFL and we are lucky to have him here in KC. He saved our season last year even more than usual. As good as he is a kicker he's an even better man.

My grandma graduated from two schools while she had my uncle and got married to my grandpa right after college. She tells me after all her decades in the medical field, having her family, being a wife and having us as her grandkids made her more happy than her career but butker never once said a woman can’t have a career and a family at the same time. This generation is just sensitive and don’t know how to just worry about themselves aka liberals ❄️

Tbh. I’m an antitheist. The god stuff makes me personally uncomfortable. However, it’s his right to say what he wants and what he believes. And it’s everyone else’s right to take that as they do. I personally disagree with him myself. But he shouldn’t be kicked out of the NFL for just stating his views. Him telling women getting their college degrees that they have been lied to will not change anyone’s personal beliefs. He didn’t hurt anyone.

The problem people have is they full heartedly believe anything posted anywhere on the internet is directed too everyone. Just like Mike said “this was directed at his demographic and his school. Which is a catholic school” not quote for quote but regardless. These are the ideals of his demographic, at least the majority of it. Not a single part of his speech insinuated that any woman should fill this roll of a homemaker. The essence of it was how much he loves his wife for making a home in which his family could thrive and that more people might benefit from a similar dynamic. It isn’t for everyone but this speech also isn’t for everyone. It just happened to go viral. I feel bad for Butker even if I don’t share his ideals necessarily. Sharing what works for your family, just because it was on a public platform, doesn’t equate to shoving your ideals down everyone’s throat and saying “this is what you should do ladies” Anyways that’s my two cents.
