Hi All! The support on this video has been absolutely insane, so thank you all so much! I would like to mention that the record in this level has been improved since the making of this video and is now a 14.774 by Xdxboxjaja. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-roMKEx9iN6g.html Additionally, I recommend watching around the first 4 minutes or so of this video at 1.5x speed, as my narration work is extremely slow and monotone; I have improved since then :D Red Ball Beginner Speedrun Tutorial: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GLFv9uJWD6g.html Red Ball Speedrunning Discord: discord.gg/ZYAwF2j My Twitch Channel: www.twitch.tv/itsmaximum My Discord Server: discord.gg/VgdepznZQT
I got this randomly recommended to me, not even caring about Red Ball and especially not caring about the speed running for it, but this was a really fascinating video!
Insane to think that u can make a video this long about a single level from a flash game. Loved that I was around for the majority of the progression for this level.
Search for "record progression peach break the targets". If you find the concept of long videos for short levels interesting, you should get a kick out of that one :)
This is a really good video about such a game with such a small community. My friend made a joke about speed running red ball and later on he sent this, and I watched it, and even though I don’t know how red ball is speed run, this was still a great video.
I didn't even notice since turbines is a common location name in a different game I play so it just sounded right. I wonder if he has a similar thing going on where he's mixing up game lingo,
Yeah but that’s literally how the speedrunning community works... the reason why speedrunners are so good at speedrunning is because they share strategies to others. there wouldn’t be any new world records for whatever game if nobody shared anything...
Dude, I was wondering if you were the same Yellow Skarmory of the Geoguessr community and you are, didn't expect to find you in a random video that RU-vid recommended to me
I have never seen this game before and don't really have an interest in speedrunning but for some reason I watched the whole thing and was engaged the whole time.
Man I'd never thought the red ball speedrunning community would vote level eleven "train sub 20" as the hardest speedrunning strat of the series. Even less would I have known about any of that 20 minutes ago... Great video!
I have nothing but the utmost respect for the speedrunners community. I like to think myself as a part of that, but im not good enough at games to achieve some wr. I ll keep supporting you guys
Really great video my dude. You're really entertaining to watch, I know nothing about red ball but you made it sound interesting. That's how you know you've done well. I love when I watch videos on a topic I know completely nothing about but I still find them entertaining because of the person making them. You've earned a, new subscriber to day.
The ending is absolute gold, I wish you had elaborated in the video and just how many hours and attempts and save States sub 20 train took, that way the ending would be even funnier
My friends and I used to speedrun red ball on the school chromebooks in grade 8 when we finished our work. We found most of the shortcuts. I miss those days
Do you have any idea of how many times mario kart and bros speedrunners tried a single trick? Abney played choco mountain for 26k runs before he got triple weathertenko, someone (dont remember his name rip)did over 6k attempts ( and then kosmic got it in 9 tries) at 4:55 in mario bros. Arthur P did a lot of attempts at the rainbow road ultra shortcut before he got it.
I actually was grinding this game when it was just put on the apple App Store. It was buggy so I could get out of the first cart almost immediately and jump along the top of the platform, and make it to the flag before it went underground. I had no idea this games community was even a thing. It’s so cool to see it again with such passion. I might have to pick it up again:)
This game brings me back to a couple years ago where our school had one set of iPads for the entire building, and when it was raining one class would get the iPads for the break time. Whenever my class got them, me and my friends would always play this game
When I was in middle school through highschool, I had found redball as a chrome extension that wouldn't open a new tab or anything, it was just a small windows that appeared, that way it wouldn't show up under the school's search history for my computer, so whenever I got bored I just played this. As soon as I saw this thumbnail I was awestruck.
I swear ,there was a kid in my elementary school ,back when flash games where popular ,that was really good with computers ,he showed this to us as a trick ,did it in front of like 10 of us
