Nardwuar doesnt always let them keep every item he hands them. He usually prefaces the items they can keep by literally saying “here’s a gift for you” but that’s not always the case
@@slaythompson The items he don't let them keep, he usually let them know it's his but he wants them to see it for a reaction purpose. Thing is he didn't expect Nas to ask to keep them, You can tell by his reaction to the question.
@@KyyaJoon correct. But maybe I misinterpreted your initial comment. I thought you had said Nardwuar lets guests keep all the “gifts”. I just wanted to clarify and say he doesn’t let them keep everything he presents them. If it’s a gift, he says it’s a gift. If it’s not, he doesn’t call it a gift. Nas isn’t wrong for thinking they could be gifts because Nardwuar didn’t actually specify they were. It’s a fair question but not all Nardwuar items are gifts. Sounds like you’re actually agreeing with me here.
11:22 THIS is the moment Nas was kinda over it. The mic down his throat, the constant “i’m waiting for you to react” questions.. then the Ether question. He caught a lot of flack for that record. Nardwar is coo but he was just going on and on and on and on.. I get it. I got second hand annoyance.
