Greetings everyone, I'd like to introduce a dish, it's called "Magic Defense Items Suck". What you need is chop this Radiant Armor with Divine Glaive. And use Wishing Lantern to burn Athena's Shield.

Yup i quited roaming for real this time. Most shitty role fr, never get appreciated,always get blamed,not marketable,etc...

This item fits better on heroes with longer ultimates like Gord, Odette, Cecilion,Change,Alice and Adc magic damage, like Kimmy and Natan, now for mages who finish with a combo, Sky Piercer is better

I just hope they bring back the old radiant armor...

Wishing lantern just makes me think back to when glowing wand used to be so bad tbh with it’s current hp passive. Could not for the life of me understand why people used that item way back then, but I’m so ready to try this one lmao. Like I do agree that this new item is a bit overtuned on some heroes and they really need to do something about that; BUTTT its current hp magic damage which technically is countered by magic resist; I think 10% is a bit too high yes but I mean there’s so much healing in the game anyways/shielding. Wish instead of them nerfing the items, they would just, add, more, items. And on top of this. even so still. My one pet peeve is like- I see sooo many complaints about the item- but NO one understands the pain of playing Kagura into baxia/fred/barats jungle meta/ yu zhong/esme tanky exp meta/ a tanky tank support like khufra or a healer like Estes/Floryn that just heal the other tanks and get Athena’s; ( all 3 of them building magic resist) with a rose gold meteor tough boots tenacity adc; and spending the entirety of the game not able to dps because divine glaive doesn’t help early game/ and glowing wand does mediocre damage on her soo I don’t feel bad for y’all lmao. 🤷🏽‍♂️ (It is nice to finally after 8 years build something else other than glowing wand and lightning trunch for a viable build. Hopefully it doesn’t take them another 8 :D )

I wonder if Wishing Lantern's proc is affected by Lolita's shield since it looks like a projectile. If it is, then i guess on next patch, Lolita could be on the same level as Diggie from previous seasons (not OP, but too much of a counter for the meta heroes, so auto-banned in Ranked)

At this point the tanks are going to be paper and now there are quite a few magic items to prove this. I wonder why won’t they add more tank items. The old Radiant Armor was good in my opinion. Hear me out: High HP tank item with some Hybrid def with a Passive that regenerates like 60% dmg from the last 3 seconds taken when HP drop below 25% ?

Old Radiant armor migth be good to counter this new OP item

also note that wishing lantern is not an early game item, it's hard to reach that 800 damage threshold in the early game and the damage remains as 10% hp

Looks like Athena's Shield first build if you don't want to get bursted right away.

They should bring back the Old Passive of Radiant Armor

I'm kinda hoping the item wouldn't push Lunox too much to be banned a lot like last time.

Radiant got nerf because for p2w change'e aspirant even after event they didn't revert instead they add dhs but mage version to literally obliterated for "tanks jungler" [they didn't aware tank roamer exist lol] and when the new season begins the meta arise of assasin and mage like wth moonton [i understand assasin need justice but that doesn't mean they have to overbuff them and mages excuse me? Divine glave and glowing wand literally can dominate magic defense the only left is athena but still doesn't enough and now they add wishin lantern to counter high hp tanks] EDIT:even they did buff/revamp the only 2 item tanks are twilight armor [reduce burst damage but need scale based on high hp but if encounters DPS + Burst hero like natan it can be useless because he can use dhs+ wishin lantern] and thunderbelt [permanent increase hybrid defense by 2 but need to use basic attack but that item aren't necessary for initiator cc tank unlike hylos/belerick/gatot and fredd can only benefit with this]

I've tried, odette combo with passive is insane too,

Odette will be monstrous with this item, as she can deal tremendous dmg in just seconds. This is going to be interesting as it would it lift her use rate in ranks or in upper ranks.

I use this using pharsa and it's really op. Even tank use flicker to hide

Best with : Odette, Lunox, harley. Lunox is very op with it, melt any high hp tank.

I think developers meant to make it 10% max ho instead of current, I prolly won't make it with much mages

i'll be testing DHS vs Wishing Lantern damage by00 Silvanna. if it is close or equal, would you prefer the lifesteal or cd reduction? Put simply, this versus test puts attack speed and extra basic attack damage against higher magic power and all damage bonuses.

Glowing wand + Wishing Lantern + Impure rage is nuts. Even Athenas cant save you from getting bursted (Cyclops main)

How about using it on Cecilion?

As a tank/mage main (Esme/Alice), this item does not give me disadvantages nor any advantages. But wow could you imagine the advantage you'll get with this item + Sky Piercer when using Alice's second skill. We bout to melt all that hp down to 0.

I think we are going back to the burst meta from about 2 years ago. What's the point of having a tank now? They die before they can even set up. May as well just go with assassin roamers and camp bushes.

Dire hit kimmy plus 1 hit build and if u add this💀 squishy marksmen will die. But she'd still get countered by ambush.

Honestly Julian is cracked with Wish Lantern in the late game. Just extra magic damage to boost his already high damage.

I think the twilight or radiant armor should be able to counter the lantern . Atleast i wish it does.

ain't no way I'm adjusting to roamer once this items drop, if I'm gonna roam I'll play a burst roam instead of tank roam.

I already played Kadita for 9 months (Used only Kadita in rank, but sometimes not because of roll taken) I have experience that Kadita extremely struggled with CC and when enemies have a lot of HP and Magic defense, but with Winter crown and wishing lantern Kadita could enter the Meta since This is tank jungler Meta
