When you said jupiter and saturn played a huge role of protecting earth It got me thinking, what if the dinosaurs didn't get wiped out by an asteroid but evolved. There's no evidence that an asteroid even hit earth. But the fossils are just dinosaurs that may have gotten eaten by some other dinosaur, the only asteroids that managed to hit earth are small remnants, plus if the asteroid managed to hit earth the moon would be affected in some way with at least giant marks and the gulf of mexico would be mostly destroyed and have tons of craters around the gulf yet there aren't any I searched every place around the Gulf of mexico, I even looked up images and studied and there aren't any craters and it isn't dry unlike all other craters are that hit the sea or any other gulfs. Like if you think this could be correct, I looked up images of what asteroids look like when they hit the sea, sand does not naturally cover the crater, it would spread out the sand and cover all of the gulf of mexico. Even tons of forces of wind wouldn't cover the crater left by the astroid, I did tons of research, found the location of the Chicxuclub asteroid, there was no evidence that there wasn't even there. I looked up images of what craters look like when in the sea, There was no evidence that it existed. Like if you believe my theory
