That road is called "Espinazo del Diablo" (Devil´s backbone) and for real life you spent around 4 to 6 hrs driving at all. As you video title said, that is one of the most dangerous road here in North-west of Mexico. Some years ago, the goverment built a quote road making tunels in the mountains from Mazatlan to Durango and it is better option to avoid "the Devil´s backbone" road. In that quote road, goverment built the number 2 highest cable-stayed bridge in the world (behind the bridge Sidu in China) and it is called "Puente Baluarte". And also, it is the longest bridge in North America. Yo ni loco manejaría por esa carretera, jajajaja, Saludos desde México compa!
It's a crazy road, do you know if these big semi-trucks actually drive on it in real life as well? I think the new road & bridge might be in the game as well. Thank you for the info, that's really interesting :)
@@alpha2project Some truck drivers still use it to save some money $$. And yes, the other road with "puente Baluarte" in the game too. Crazy graphics by the way!! The video looks so cool!
@AlphaProject They still do, but it's not as common as it used to be. Before 2008, you were basically forced to go through this route because it was the only route that went from Northeastern Mexico to Mazatlan. Unless you wanted to do a detour to Jalisco, which makes the drive longer.
I've been thinking about doing it, but I there haven't been any really good free graphics mods lately. I'll have to do quite a lot of research and testing first.
It's this mod: forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=297862 Quite old but I haven't had any problems with it. I'm also running the game at 1440p, so that makes it look a bit sharper.
