Dude, I'll never understand when people who play smash tell me they're "not really dubs players" Like how do you not take advantage of the format that a platform fighter like smash allows and play with and synchronize a friend?

Probably due to too many online doubles ending in an absolute and utter stomp. The matchmaking for doubles is way more volatile than singles, and I've had a number of matches where I spent 3 minutes straight just trying to touch the ground while the opposing team styles on us without taking a hit. Get a few of these in a row and that's when I stop for the day. When you can have one match against actual kids who don't know what the block button is, and then have the next match be against people who probably have participated in tournaments, it can be equal parts frustrating and discouraging.

@@itsmeepo4203 that's online quickplay tho. That's one aspect. You can always look for locals or connect with discord servers that specialize in finding dubs matches for you and your partners skill levels
