Honestly the interview with the gaslight cast was cringy on all levels.. why was anupama chopra asking Sara questions as though she is one big thing.. she is not. Infact she acted so privileged.. which is what I think Vikrant was alluding to and I don’t think he should be have been so apologetic, he has an opinion so what?! But poor guy had to compensate by complementing her.. honestly she is absolutely mediocre. A director did not drop her because of her abysmal performance(s).. that is in itself a privilege to have.. unknowns don’t get that chance. Journalists still talk to these star kids as though they are this big thing. I saw that anupama did not treat a chitrangadha , Sara or vikrant the same way, as actors of a film. That’s the annoying part about theses interviews, journalists themselves put these mediocre star kids on a pedestal.

Trust you to take a small instance making it out to be more than it is. Sara simply made a lame joke to deflect from the awkward question about preconceived notions of nepo kids. Granted, that didn't help things become less awkward but it wasn't as awkward as you're making it to be either. These two are genuine friends, as Vikrant has said in many interviews even ones and that he even goes to her for advice. He even praised her more than here long before the promos started and in interviews she wasn't present in.

You are just overreacting on that Sara, chitrangda and vikrant interview. I don't know why are you so much against Sara? Everytime you nitpick on her, if you don't like her , don't watch her, but everytime bringing her, her movies, her interviews in your posts are so weird. If you can't understand that her characters on both love Aaj kal 2 and atrangi re are meant to be the way they are, an anxious insecure confused girl who puts a mask of fake calmness in the present world as Zoe and of a girl with an extensively traumatic childhood and adulthood in atrangi re. You have to understand the context and the background of the character for judging an actor. She can't do a typical acting like a biopic in these roles. You have to show imperfection cz the characters are imperfect. But it is too much to expect from your Ranbir obsessed mind.
