Hey Pete, potential video idea for you. XQC (Biggest streamer on twitch) has been playing Risk lately with some other well known streamers…but as expected, bc they are casual players…they are really bad 💀 I think if you did a reaction/commentary/analysis of some sort over one of their gameplay videos with XQC’s name in the title, you could potentially finesse the algorithm & bring even more eyes to your channel whilst at the same time educating newer players even further. Just a suggestion & I could be dead wrong, but yeah, love your content man keep smashing it! 🫡

I found your points about the Risk World Championship being an open tournament really interesting. I wish the Grandmasters Tournament didn't allow players to communicate in discord. I would have played it if that were the case. I find the bargaining that happens in the voice chats to be a really lame tournament mechanic because unlike the alliances in game, everyone, including the person who may get the short end of the stick, gets to hear the bargaining and then has to beg for points. If the GM tournament didn't have that feature to it I think it'd sort of solve your "Open tournament not being legit" qualm (a fair one to have) since all of the players have experience playing at least somewhat decent Risk (even if the GM title doesn't mean that much these days).

I've just played the game of 5 people. One of people didn't validate joining and the rest of 3 give so for a moment I didnt even notice that Im playing with only bots xD, but it looked weird, as white and blue were destroying each other.

And thus White proving once again: No Australia, No Win. Edit, Spoiler below: When second place feels like a win. White got extremely lucky that Red didn't kill him on 11:18 though. Taking out your competitor for 18 troops, 4 cards with the insta trade, a continent to boot and nobody really able to mess with you afterwards. I'd buy that for a dollar.

I've started trying some true random dice games and my first one the dice were not in my favor. I rolled a 7v1 to take a +4 bonus on turn 1 and lost 5 troops then tried to recover and a few turns later rolled a 12v2 and lost 9 LOL

I would still say the youtube videos you put out could stand to be twice as loud. Kill Pete Risk and Free Pete Risk (I think) I'd assume they get published under the same settings. I'm not sure if in post production your voice is very whisper-quality. Still Excellent Content, and if nothing changes I will continue to make do, still worth it.

as far as the screen annotation software being cheating, someone could also just write on their monitor with dry erase marker for the same effect, so I don't think it's quite the same as an aim bot

Honestly I think you're tripping when you say the game is sus.. Noobslams are not uncommon, so the Red move is unfortunate but nothing suspicious in and of itself. Green breaking you is also unsurprising. You're holding a +5 and they were about to take SA, it cost them nothing to break your 1 troop in Spain. (Meaning, at 13:40 they could've just as well followed red's example and slammed the 5v3 to break your bonus instantly, if they were after you, but didn't). Thinking everyone is out to get you is a bit rich, isn't it? You also proved yourself wrong when you saw in the end they were just noobs.
