Retired and to celebrate bought a set of these irons. A better investment than a holiday…. Love them. Absolute bliss to hit. And as he says, a wonderful sound - & ball flight - when you hit out of the centre. Great results even when not at my best. They look fantastic and the design doesn’t age.
It's the old case of price versus value. Don't knock unless you've tried the feel and sound of hand forged (Tiger's). Note difference between MC (blade) and CB (cav back) ranges. 2nd hand Miuras more affordable than latest releases from muscle brands.
that's a ton of money (okay, a ton would be 2240 pounds). I'm still using the irons from a economical brand set that was patterned off Tiger's Nike clubs; bought for $300 US, over 20 years ago. I've got the Mavrik driver and hybrid, and a Jaws wedge on the short end, and expect to be swapping out clubs over the next few years.
I play a combo of the cb801 and tb901 bent 2* weak so my 7i is 36* and 4* up from there (8i,9i,pw, wedges) all in all I have 4 irons and 3 wedges. The 9i,pw,52,56,60 all have bgt zne shafts. I love my set and wouldn’t play anything else
