Hey guys, we spent a week at the number 1 hotel in the Philippines, Amanpulo. The Philippines had been on our bucket list for some time and what better way to experience the Philippines then to stay at the number 1 hotel. If you've never heard of the Aman hotel brand, don't worry, it's not the largest of hotel groups with only 31 destinations around the world. The Aman is known for premier luxury that always immerses you in the local culture while giving you 5-star service. During our time at Amanpulo we explored the whitest beaches in the world, swam in some of the clearest water in the world, and had plenty of Aperol spritzes. We also went scuba diving, had a lunch at a private sand bar, swam around the cauayan (bamboo) bar, and finally got to fly to and from in the hotels own private plane. Aman is in the Palawan province of the Philippines, which is the southern archipelago of islands near el nido.

Amanpulo is a private island that they said only rich people can afford..one of the best Island so far and expensive and only here in the Philippines in Palawan.. And I heard that they accommodate less number of visitors..because they wanted to protect and preserve the island..

@BL UE you can try asking quotation from their reservation. They have PRO (Philippine Resident Offer) rates. Sadly, I can't disclose other information as I still respect the confidentiality agreement. But I am sure it's really hefty!😀

still far cheaper than the banwa island which has a ridiculous price tag of 100k usd!!! amanpulo usually cost 2k usd or less depending on season. also far cheaper than comparable beaches outside the philippines.

Ive just came back home (Philippines) from a 4month long world cruise in a ship where i work. We have been to a lot of beaches in the world and i must say that Philippines has a lot better destinations and interesting attractions for tourists! Not to mention the warm hospitality of Filipinos is already a plus!

Amanpulo is a paradise indeed, but expensive. If you are in a tight budget, there are hundred more beaches all over the Philippines with almost the same feels but less expensive. Islands, beaches and natures that you can do exciting activities to make your stay fun and worthy. Agree kababayans? 👍🏻

They go above and beyond and EVERYONE is soo gracious and lovely. Went to Bali and Japan in one trip in 2018. Such an amazing place, still on my bucketlist for now. Some hotels/resorts that I loved visiting are El Nido, Boracay, Cebu islands, also breathtakingly beautiful but not as expensive / exclusive / private as Amanpulo. Thank you for showing the world one of the top loveliest islands of the Philippines. Great vlog on Amanpulo. 😍

Jusko..a slice of heaven here on earth! ...kaya ang daming gusto sumakop sa pilipinas dahil sa mga yamang likas nito.. 200,000 pesos a day in Amanpulo,that was insane i mean superb..you are a certified rich person.! I heard Balisin is also expensive but Amanpulo is the Most expensive!

You are wrong! Philippines was former Spanish colony for 333 years and America for more than 50 years back then. Wala ng gustong sumakop ng Filipinas it's over. This island was new discovered, remember Philippines has more than 7, 172 Islands and eleven dialects for itself. Spanish was Mother dialect back then but Filipino spoke English widely. Tagalog is national language of the Philippines.

And spanish was once the national language of the Ph but when USA took over they eliminated the spanish language and introduced english. Tagalog is a dialect po filipino is a language.

Wala ng colonial mentality ngayon dahil puro economics at influencia na ang banat ng malalaking bansa ngayun. Lumang mentality na yang maraming gustong sumakop sa pinas. Di mayaman ang pinas ngayun kaya wala ng makukuha ang mananakop sa ating bansa. Wala nga tayong strong export na product eh. Mas marami OFW nangingibang bansa

Those flower garlands/necklace are sampaguita (Jasmine), national flower of the Philippines. It is a custom to give special guests those sampaguita necklaces same in Hawaii only different flowers.

The island resort screams privacy and luxury. Aman btw means "peace" in Sanskrit and "pulo" means island in the Filipino language. Some A-listers like Brad Pitt, Beyonce, Robert De Niro and Bill Gates were reported to have stayed in the island. Dunno if it's true coz the resort is usually reluctant to make a statement when famous people visit the island.

We heard some stories about how people take a private helicopter there from Manila or a private jet there from wherever .. Some levels of wealth are hard to comprehend. I can't imagine thinking... "hey honey, let's take the PJ to Amanpulo this weekend"..

Verde Island is so underated. It's the center of the center of Marine Biodiversity. I dove there and I'm tranported to another planet it's the densest coral garden I've seen my whole life. I want to go backkkk.

Nick, sorry for not getting back to you earlier.. part of that was due to travel and jet lag.. here's the flight there ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lfLLHqV-4Mk.html . We flew to Seoul then to Manilla. The flight as you'll see was actually very nice. The jet-lag from the return flight was pretty tough. We've been home for several days and we're still feeling it.
