I think it’s so important to marry into a family that accepts you & treats you like their own. When you’re deciding to marry, the family you marry into should be prioritized as well. I love my in-laws. They’re all so great & im so fortunate.

The title is misleading - this isn't an Indian wedding. It's a Bengali wedding (they say this in the video). Which is different than an Indian and Pakistani wedding.. also this is a muslim wedding so it is not a Hindu/Sikh/Jain/Christian wedding that is Indian/Pakistani/Bengali. Completely different religion and culture.. Even when they explain the 4 stages of an "Asian" wedding, that is a muslim ceremony. Hindus and Sikhs have a different set of events and names, and Christians don't have any of these ceremonies. For example, in a Hindu ceremony there is a fire, which the bride and groom walk around and we are forbidden to have any meat on the day of the wedding.

This is what family is about. Most of us might find it too much but most of us are much more alone. It's a great culture with alot of fun built in... and the Scottish accents!!! I loved it!!

Maybe I never should have commented as the new bride might have left for Kansas taking ToTo! I agree. It is sad wether he anxiety or not. Other than the fact that this isn't an "Indian wedding," its still a very beautiful video that does well displaying the very dreamlike, special & important moments of this Bengali traditional wedding. 👏🏻😍 I really enjoyed it. I always turn into that little girl I used to be while watching, in awe of the beauty, the bling & warmth of family. Some possible downsides might put off some ppl, but if it's a completely consensual thing, I'm not someone to judge. ☮

Misleading title. These are not Indian families in the video. These are Muslim Bengali and Pakistani weddings. There is no representation of Indian culture or Hindu, Sikh, or even Jain Indian weddings in the video

The in laws shown on the lastbwedding are amazing. I would love to marry into a family like that. I have such a great relationship with my Mom should could set up an arranged marriage and I would be fine with it. All run all potentials by her anyway. But I have to say I like the Cherokee tradition (at l3ast in the old days) where the gro moves to the wife's village. My little sister moved from Northern Indiana to Kansas and in 3 years have only seen her 2x. Really sad.

I am Caucasian and married an American born Chinese man. His parents grew up in China, then Chinatown San Francisco. When I married into the family, I was accepted with open arms and have the best in-laws a person could ever want. I am much closer to them than my own family. Our family traditions are beautiful and I am preparing to have both come live in our home in the not too distant future. It will be my honor to look after them in old age.

The bride is stunning. And those are some seriously gorgeous people in general, complimented by fabulously beautiful clothes and jewelry. In a sea of boring Western wedding whites, the color traditions of Asia (and India in particular) are superlative. And I'm so glad that the customary ceremonies continue. I do know it costs an absolute boatload of money. I try to appreciate every pound as a simple, third-hand observer.

No it is because Indian Kids stay with their parents until marriage the tears are because their child is not going to be in their house any more just her memories and occasional visits not every morning over breakfast. Most Indian parents are way over attached to our kids.

Those are some of the most beautiful weddings ever...the brides dresses are just breathtaking but why do they (the brides) wear the really big nose rings? Why are they so big? I have always wondered...so please can someone educate me on it so I'm not mistaken if ever it comes up in conversation plus I love learning about other cultures!!
