Wouldn't pay 700 for them wheels never mind 7,000 worst looking wheels I've seen on a transporter

I can see other people have already commented this but £130k for a van with no toilet or shower is bonkers. This is by far the nicest one I've seen though. I've always thought anyone paying £80k for a VW California needs their head read, however, this is the sort of spec that should be coming out of the factory.

Well, ours is a Volksleisure conversion on a T6 DSG 204 4 motion with solar, retractable tow bar, reversing camera, 3 seat bed conversion ( which is so comfortable and takes seconds to convert) shower connection and external gas barbecue connection, swivel front seats, LED headlights, turn lights, etc. etc.. Van was £37k and conversion £25k. It’s been brilliant for us. I really can’t see what an extra £70k provides that would make it more enjoyable as a camper . But maybe that’s not the point?

Why is everybody so bitter on the comments! It’s on a base spec 60k van + all the extras,the wheels and suspension were 12 odd k. A bmw M5 doesn’t have a sink or toilet but it has X amount of extras from a base model bmw 5 series.

Good to see a showcase van. Self levelling kit is a lovely to have. Wheels? May appeal to some and good luck to them. For me, when I spec out my dream camper it must have proper bathroom with shower, which rules out this type of van.

Nice van, but at the end of the day it’s a van ,never worth the money, you can buy a top of the range motor home for half the cost

Eco wagon make thr best camper vans available, with all the gear and craftsmanship you are getting quality. However at that price I'd expect an electronic roof and scenic canvas! Beautiful van though 💙🤙

At the NEC show today, their other van for 75k looked better and really no different. No question a high quality build though…but I’d have your beach and a GT4….

Sat in that actual van this weekend at the NEC. Took someone that is in the market for a top end T6 so as you can imagine we saw a lot of vans yesterday. I do have to say though, that one stood out head and shoulders above the others. The quality of fit and finish and the spec really did hit the spot.

Lovely, but bonkers price! My T5 does all that for ~30k… and I’ve got a scenic roof! Great video though - love a nosey! 👍

Eco for the high solar and a litter picking stick.. whoopee. There's bits I like but my Ocean kicks the arse out of that. You need 204 to get it moving with all that kitchen and extra weight.

Tbf if I had the money, still not sure I’d spend it on that spec. I’ve a 69 Caravelle which I wouldn’t be without the full size rear but I do like the fit out on this Van, I am interested in the air suspension and Froli but apart from that 🤷🏻‍♂️ I have 150w solar, ‘normal’ leisure battery, Skyline Aurora Poptop, usb’s & 12v sockets, swivels. I still have the option of keeping 7seats & pop up table and removing and installing a pod if we go away. Suppose that’s what it’s all about, personal choices to personal needs. Nice van though, apart from wheels & bodykit 😏

How do you screen off the front windows when you want privacy, the side windows have the blinds, but is there no drop down curtain like behind the front seats to make the back compartment totally private?

Another great review, great looking van. Staggering amount of money though; we’ve got a high spec Sherwood Campers ‘Loxley’ conversion on our new LWB T6.1 but we didn’t spend anywhere near £130k 😉

Some very nice touches, but they all come at a hefty cost,

130k+ and no toilet, NO WAY would I consider this. Cassette toilets should be mandatory.

My eyes are watering just looking at the price, let alone saying it out loud! Definitely looks great outside and in, with exception to the wheels, not my cup of tea unfortunately, but for £7k, I'm sure I won't have any problems finding a set that I'd like in that price bracket! 🤣 Even sadder is that I'd still want to add a few more things as well! 🙄😂 Great tour. Nice camper, but that is nowhere near worth £131,000…….I think Kenny needs to think about his extortionate prices. No electric roof, no toilet or shower either……I’d rather buy two Cali’s than one of Kenny’s.

Why has it got lowered or stiffened or sports suspension on low profile tyres on a van you’re presumably spending a lot of time driving around in on roads, not race tracks.... hard, bumpier than usual? Rough roads into camp sites?

Well I'm afraid it looks very boring. Only thing that sets it apart is alloys. There's nothing distinctive about the outside except the wheels. One other good thing is lwb. Why on earth everyone goes for the shortarse confuses me. Ive got lwb & the extra 400mm makes a big difference. Some say easier to park. No difference. Maybe sticks out a little. But so do many cars

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. £131,000 are they dreaming? floor finish around the step is dreadful, why didn't they use a Caravelle step? higher than the standard van step, would actually fit over the top of the edge Roof canvas is incorrectly tensioned, all loose on the nearside, a particularly poor quality canvas that should be of 'scenic' spec for that money Fridge door hinges the wrong way, it's a 5 minute job to swap over, why wasn't this done? That must be the cheapest lining carpet in the world, so thin you can see the weave Those solar cables should be better disguised Why no full width rear threshold ? Save the £13k for the wheels and air suspension, address the above issues and price around £75-80k and that would be a reasonable purchase As it stands there, anyone who would possibly spend that amount of money to get that in return needs to undergo some form of assessment. Yes I do know what I'm talking about, I build these, every day but much better and far cheaper

Front end looks horrible. Dont get me wrong i love transporters, ive had 5 in total which ive used as a self employed tradesman. I currently have a t6. I would never consider one as a campervan as they’re too small.

Whilst the individual component parts add up to the £130k price tag, I’m not so sure they add up to a practical camper van IMO. I’m pretty sure this van isn’t going to be wild camping (even with the mega solar panel on the roof, massive Lithium battery and inverter) anytime soon without a toilet onboard. Some excellent design features, plus a few gimmicks, but sadly well outside of my (and 99% of most people’s) price range. A great review thanks, but even if I had that much to spend i’d not be purchasing this van.

It's a lovely van and nice spec. I'm not sure about the wheels, mine cost nearer £4k with tyres and look nicer but that's subjective. My only real criticism is that it's the LWB version. They just don't look right to me. Either you need a practical family car/dayvan/occasional camper and you get the SWB or you need a dedicated camper for longer trips and then you get the crafter type. I just think the LWB is neither one nor the other. I'm sure LWB owners will disagree and appreciate the slightly larger interior space. Would I pay £131k for one? No but then I wouldn’t pay that for any camper. It's still a lovely thing and a nice showpiece for the creators.

Wow if money was no problem not sure about the cheese grater wheels but each to there own often wondered why no one seems to fit fly screens to the sliding door how would you survive in Scotland or with mosquitoes?

For that money I would expect true Midge proof screens not standard fly screens. Also the base vehicle is not what I would really describe as eco. Pop top material looks a bit low rent for the price point- would rather have something like a Jerba van roof material fitted. Ostentatious more than eco. Details lacking I would say

... no spare wheel, must have those run flats.

For that money I would expect to see upholstered moulded coverings on the interior, not stretch carpet.

We have a high top long wheelbase T5. It has a seperate shower and loo. Cost £20,000. Can't quite see £130,000's worth here.

Epic demo van. No one in right mind should pay £130k for a t6.1. My 2022 CJL conversion gives 90% of this at sub £80k and is a better looking van (in my opinion).

Somewhat puzzling, a 3000W inverter - why? A Toaster only needs 1kW, but the main issue is that for half the price you can get a proper Ducato class panel van, with central heating, hot water, standing room, bathroom, shower, lots of space etc. For £131k you can buy a big new Carthago land yacht, serious, at that budget, there are so many vans that wipe the floor with that. Nicely made video though.

I was looking at this very van yesterday at the NEC ,its a proper bit of kit and worth every penny 👌

So my used imported Nissan Elgrand van which comes from factory with 260bhp V6 and selectable 4x4 with electronic diff lock, luxury leather interior (mine is tan leather) with swivel captainschairs throughout and can be made into a lounge with pop up table, bose sound system, surround camera system like a Tesla with birds eye view for security, twin electric sliding doors, electric open & close tailgate, built in heating, twin electric drop down screens from factory with TV, DVD and built in sat nav etc etc. Imported with 38000miles and full service, had a full camper conversion done, whole thing cost me under £22000. Nissan elgrand is far superior to the Volkswagen in every way and yet VW charge an insane amount for a very average vehicle with a pathetic 2L oil burner, then add the cost of a conversion and you end up with a vehicle that amazingly people are still will to purchase, and once the price is over a 100k who cares how much it is. Just stupid, stop paying so much people and the cost of these will have to come down. You are being ripped off.

There's some amazing sprinters for 130k in the States state of the art too of course this is too expensive looks like a 30k van still
