Omg, my tears came out when i heard the story of the castle. No one should have to go through something like that. sending God's blessing for everyone.
There's something about the life of fishermen that intrigues me and is so fascinating. I love watching how they work and live from various countries. Loved how you brought us through the market to kind of get of a glimpse into their lives - I felt like I was there!
I love how Ghanaian people get on with their lives; everyone seems to be busy and enjoying whatever they do. Fascinating to see how easily they carry huge loads on their heads.
Cooking is all about people. Food is maybe the only universal thing that really has the power to bring everyone together. No matter what culture, everywhere around the world, people get together to eat. Love from Korea🇰🇷💕
@@Eric-the-wise And.. What’s your point? White men have been in Alkebu-lan, For hundreds of years, colonizing it. Why do you think you see so many white Jesus portraits in West Africa? Dr. Bailey MD class of Meharry Medical college 1993.
@@Eric-the-wise Karen is a white women term. I’m all African Male. I guess your ignorance didn’t catch that Meharry Medical College is a HBCU the first Black medical school in America. My question to you KAREN, why are you so concerned about us? MYOWB, mine your own White Business.
It is how things should be with no big cormecial fishers being the ones who have fishing rights!! This is how things should be and everyone gets a share of what the ocean has to offer! Very hard working people
Had the pleasure of visiting August 2023. Sure wish I had seen your video before I went. I learned a lot when I was there. learned even more seeing this. Thanks
David, you need to find out your Akan name before leaving Ghana.. the tour guide at the castle said he was called Kwamina (male born on Saturday). Love your chanel!xx
*Main 13 saal ki age se cooking kar raha hu, masterchef mera sbse favorite show tha and then maine thaan lia tha ki mujhe Chef hi banna hai but mere ghrwale kehte the... Thank you - David! The ships never came to the shore. The ships parked two miles away in the Ocean in an area called the "Roads". The canoes owned by the fishermen were used by the fishermen who were hired to ferry the captives and goods to the ship in the "Roads"!
Wow what a experience..Im going to ask my husband to bring me there.I know he might say he doesn't want to go back in time but I would love to visit there
David I can see you really love waakye which is your favourite Ghanaian food as you clearly stated, your 2nd time having it. its also almost every Ghanaian's favourite dish
im glad youu said something about recording there at the market. some bloggers get angry that they cant video inside this place and that place. they need to learn the etiquette of being a blogger. NO ONE CARES that they have content to make. being respectful is key and if they have to blog just be discreet. USE COMMON SENSE.
Wow, the quality of ur Videos is very on point 😊 the scenes at the fishing market was soo accurate and the colours 👌🏿 there really hardworking people in Ghana.🇬🇭🌻 Nice content Dave, U are a hardworking guy. ❤️ P.S. The Dungeons are no more called Castles.it‘s a very painful history. Hopefully Ghana can recover that’s history ✊🏿
It all belongs to God..Ghana will get back their Tomatoe Plants, and will not loose their Fish Market! In Jesus Name. God Made Nothing Unclean! Forget the Slave Quarters that is of the Devil.. God freed the slave, and his angels are watching over his flock!!!
Good job David for availing yourself to going to Ghana 🇬🇭 and showing all this places with our rich culture.👍🏿👌🏿✌🏿 The one thing that I've noticed was/is that we as the natives of the countries you the commentators go to, sometimes/somehow don't show or help us know how you really felt about your expedition, experience, emotional journey, & how could/did u relate to the struggles n type of economy it was to U. And lastly, what did U (guys) learn from the cruel treatments from the caucasians that came there to basically trick, convince, & manipulate the locals into getting n chaining their mindset that they're going for grener pasyured _&jujj*jj
Nice video🙏🏼Sadly it is less and less fish in the fisherman net due to big fishing companies from abroad empting Ghanaian coast and making people even more poor and forcing them to leave their families for suffering far away. Modern slavery in old fashion.
It will appear like chaos, meaning complete disorder and confusion, to outsiders; but to the people, it's quite the opposite. Everyone knows where, when and how to move.
Hey David , I am from India. Well just a question? What are 5 to 10 problems which you faced during traveling India firstly . Waiting for your reply. 😊
