We would suggest you come as soon the park opens (10am) as it closes quite early (5pm)
Is the express pass worth it ?
YES ! we literally walked onto the main rides when the normal queues were 60 mins to 115 mins.
So it was well worth it
Plan ahead of time:
Download the universal app and look at the map to plan which rides you want to visit first.
Rush to those as soon as you enter the park.
We noticed that it got extremely busy from 12 onward so plan accordingly especially if you are not buying the express pass.
Our top 4 rides were:
Cyclon
Human
Revenge of the Mummy
Transformers
Also use the app to see which shows are on and what times - we especially enjoyed Waterworld
Lockers:
Lockers are provided for the rollercoasters as you cannot take ANYTHING on the rides.
These lockers are free for 45 mins.
Carry a water poncho- Jurassic park river rapids ride will get you SOAKED so carry a poncho with you when you visit the park.
You can buy one at the ride but they cost $4.
All restrooms have free water stations.
So whilst you cannot take outside eats and drinks in, you are allowed to take in an empty water bottle.
So carry yours and just fill up as you walk around the park. This will save you some money as foods and drinks in the park are quite pricey!
