I compare pimping your home-office with pimping cars. Lots of guys have invested fortunes into upgrading their cars/home office. It is a status symbol around some basic functionality. The rest is more or less marketing blah to make you want those things. But I'm not sure if coding in full darkness with lights just coming off the screen and reflected lights from the table desk are actually that healthy on the eyes. Therefore the end results is more like a promotional thing to look more fancy

@@KessraAs an owner of an ultrawide (while smaller) and enthusiast in the scene, this monitor is around 2 grand. there is no ultrawide on the market for 10 thousand dollars as far as Im concerned.

@@JimmyFeelsIt I checked the prices and you are right. I bought mine in 2017 and there I had to spend for an 38'' curved one like 5-6k where I'm at so I assumed one in that size must be even more expensive. But looking at Amazon they became really affordable.

Just get a Ikea desk. My has this, but its hidden on the back of the desk, so it does not take up space from your desk. But all PSU's etc are there. And im sure my whole desk cost less than just this :D
