I never hated the voice, but without an explanation it was odd, and he definitely needs his own style, it doesn't feel quite right, not wrong, just off.

Editor isn't so bad. I think the problem was that it was really jarring to suddenly hear his voice instead of yours and people just didn't react well to it. Now that there's a face to The Voice it's not as bad as it was before. But that's just me
The only thing i minded was that it felt like they were pretending like it’s the same voice when it’s not. It just felt weird. Other than that it’s fine
I must say, i love the clean look, forward facts and most of all the great showcase of the Sounds of the materials with high quality mics. This really adds another factor for decisionmaking when buying a product, that i have never seen in another review channel. This video was better to watch at 1.25x since the voiceover is a bit more chill than usual, but still on point and great also just to watch as entertainment. Thank you very much! PS. Since you have so much gear ; Giveaways at the end of videos would be a great consideration. Or just quietly in the Vid. Description, for the insiders, without attracting to much Giveaway horny folks from the outside, for this Community is growing by quality, not greed for cheap giveaways :)
Play the video in 1.25x and it sounds closer to the original. New host is not bad at all, he just talks slow. He can also benefit from more "CHA CHING" "WA BAMMM" "WIN WIN"
It is not that we didn`t like the voice - its just that we thought that the "main guy" was replaced and that the channel was taken over by unknown entities...If you guys had given him a proper introduction - like this video - we would have been prepared...but let bygones be bygones... The "New Guy" had me at the (expensive)camera throw =)
Give this kid time. He’s brilliant already if you’d never heard the OG you’d love it. Self deprecating humour and clear delivery. I’ve gotta lot of time for him.

This was a great move, him leaning into the comments made me stop being judgmental and respect him a lot more. Good on you mate, charismatic move, people hate change but that's not on you excited to see more of you man.
Your voice is fine. Personally I think a lot of people complaining is because you try to copy the OG way of speaking way too much. Speak your own way, you know, like a normal person.

There is no point in buying the Sandisk Portable SSD. You can make a faster and cheaper one by buying an internal NVMe SSD and enclosure. There are now USB 4 enclosures that would work with both thunderbolt 3 and the older USB standards.
Great video, dude. I could watch either of you host the full length videos. Please though, stop it with the looping shorts, they're terrible! Keep it short, please don't end it with "but..." Or something similar to keep looping.
i dont get why he gets hate, but sure he needs to make his own style maybe that would sound more natural cuz now he just imitate you tho and nothing wrong with that
It's still early days, hopefully he improves his voice-delivery skills, editing skills aside. Not gonna lie tho, still prefer the original guy, hope he comes back soon 🙁
