@@missglittertron why do people always have to exaggerate online? She's just average. I mean, so am I, there's nothing wrong with being average. I just don't get why people feel the need to over compliment. Everyone can feel differently of course and their idea of beauty can vary, but stunning is a big word and Judy has the girl next door look. She suits very little makeup, and the glam looks don't really suit her.
@@Mandaxx25 why do people (by people I mean YOU, "Manda") feel the need to act so passive aggressive with your backhanded compliment? Girl, all you had to say was "I prefer Judy with natural makeup", but noooo, instead you had to say such a nasty thing. Fix your attitude.
Unpopular opinion: the base makeup is nice, but the eyeliner and blush placement DO NOT suit her face. Those are trendy makeup looks, high opacity blush on top of the cheekbones and “foxy” eyeliner, but it honestly doesn’t flatter her features. The mua ignored highlighting her natural beauty imo. Trendy techniques do not look good on everyone.
Agreed and Judy has such unique and gorgeous features, it's a shame he didn't personalize and compliment them more. Still beautiful and hella better than I could do though.
I'm sold on the foundation. It looks amazing! I wasn't happy with the eye makeup. Us hooded eye girls are always looking for best eyeliner techniques and this wasn't it.
@@kudzu_ when the whole lid is covered in black there is no shape. It can also come across as a very dark look like a villian. Which maybe that's what he was going for.
I was marvelling the same. Every stroke was soft and deliberate. I loved the explanations from both Valentino employees. To me the blush looks too peachy for the lips and burgundy eyeliner but the overall look is stunning!
The look is stunning. But those eyes are absolutely gorgeous. I love the fact that it didn’t look like you were wearing any foundation, just lipstick and shadow. BEAUTIFUL!!
I was expecting a different look, but its nice to see you finally have an enjoyable experience. No dirty brushes, crusty mascara, or a MUA trying to shave your eyebrows!!
I agree. Hes worked with her multiple times and has a beautiful talent where as these MUAs probably have a few set looks that they do on everyone and customize for specific features. Which is fine.
Yeah, eyeliner is so tricky with hooded eyes. The looks I like best on hooded eyes usually involved threat-thin eyeliner on the lids with a little flick drawn so it shows a nice line with the eyes open, focusing on delicately smudged eyeshadow for shape and definition.
So, every time she goes to a cheap place she shows the makeup in natural lighting, and very very close revealing all the true texture/ possible imperfections. Every time the makeup is high end, the shots are much further away with only flattering indoor and ring lighting. I want to see them both in their raw every day state to really get a feel for how the makeup looks. Especially in this look where he put 3 layers on her face.
I think the difference in filming is because of the difference in ambience of the places she’s going. At the cheap places, the person filming her has more freedom to kinda get up close and make jokes behind the makeup artists back because they usually aren’t really paying attention to Judy. The higher end places pay complete attention to Judy. They’re taking to her, showing her the products they’re using, explaining things, etc., so there’s not much time for zooming in and adding voiceovers because it’s not necessary. I understand you wanting to see unbiased comparisons, but she’d probably have to make a completely different type of video for that.
In one of her other videos where she's getting her makeup done by the kim kardashian Booth, they show a shot of her outside with the makeup on. It's not that close up, but it's still outside in natural lighting.

Am I the only one that wasn't crazy about the look? Like the experience is lovely and idk how thw makeup feels but the cheeks felt overdone and the eye look lacked dimension and was drowned out by an eyeliner that didnt suit her eyeshape. I feel like people look at the makeup differently because of the price and name, and high end counter makeup isnt critiqued enough
100% agree! The cheeks could have maaaaybe worked with a lighter lipstick color. But the eyeliner definitely was bad, it didn't suit her eye shape at all. At the end of the day technique is so much more important than the products themselves.
It looks like shit to me... she's in awe but it looks like a kid did the eyeliner and it doesn't suit her at all. He also missed half her lips with the lipstick.
This makeup isn’t my PERSONAL taste but you look beautiful and really deserved a quality, spa-like experience after the hell you put your face through. I hope you felt amazing.
@@jessH090 Grandmas used a spoon to curl the eyelashes without spending money and still nowadays is a great technique. I' ve seen people killing it level witchcraft🤯She mentions it, or she jokes asking for a spoon (I don' t remember exactly) but the make up artist has never heard that, no idea about it. Well, he' s got no idea, in general...
@@jessH090 it's from a previous video of hers that they were jokingly referring to. I can't remember the name of the video, but basically they heated the spoon and put it super hot to curl her lashes. Like how people would do in the flippin 90s instead of using proper tools for a "professional" makeup salon experience.
Disappointing for Valentino, this is probably one of the worst high-end makeups you've had done. I've said it once and I'll say it again but the best high-end makeups you ever had were Dior closely followed by Sisley. The Gucci one was also disappointing, this just isn't flattering sorry.
Same here. Judy makes money shitting talk other MUA, most of the time, more humble in terms of knowledge or infrastructure but when it comes to a luxury brand shes like Wowww so perfect haha besides thar some of her videos you can clearly see its fake. Sooo im unsubscribing to her.

Gooorgeooouusss! I haven't worn makeup in years and this made me want to wear makeup again. Also, I cannot get over the difference between how good MUA treat you compared to the bad MUA. He was so gentle, informative, and had you involved in the process. Love that.
So refreshing to see what a talented MUA can do with such a great canvas as Judy. Isn't that what makeup is supposed to do is to make you the best version of yourself? Bravo, job well done!

My humble opinion, the eyeliner is too thick and makes her eyelid more hooded than they are. I myself had this problem.. But if she is happy with the outcome more power to her! 😵💫🤷♀️

I like that lip color a lot, such a pretty shade for you.. and the foundation is so smooth, I'm not big on dramatic eyeliner but you look beautiful and you can tell that you had a great time

Since you're familiar with the product, can I ask you a question: I'm always on the lookout for a good foundation, and this foundation looks great on Judy under vanity lights, but how would you describe the coverage in normal life situations? I love a natural finish/look, nothing too heavy, but for Valentino prices, I'd expect more *Pow!* coverage instead of a light tint while still looking natural, if that makes sense. Is it a lighter foundation that gives sheer coverage, or is it a medium-to-full coverage product that conceals flaws well? Is it more matte or dewy in finish? How does it wear? Okay, so that's more than a single question, but thanks for any help you can provide. 😂
Wow I love all their makeup especially that foundation and powder I've never used any Valentino I would have ended up buying it all .Those blush colors were absolutely gorgeous too ...I loved it all.
I’m not really a fan of the eye look, especially the eyeliner. The base is nice but overall I don’t think this look suits you, the eyes remind me of something that a worst rated makeup artist would do lol
