I have often thought the same thing. Marilyn was her own amazing self and Jane Russell was a complete bad ass, not just next to her, but along with her.
@@gbear2253you’d be dead wrong, she had chin implants and nose surgeries. Plastic surgery was everywhere back then, it just was done more subtly, today its done to achieve completely surreal feautures
. .I doubt the heels were five inches .. and you were an assistant costume person on this film ?Were you there on the film set for this scene? How do you know the heels 👠were five inches? ...🤨🤔 I Suggest to provide proof , please....🤨

Styles from different era's always make a popular come back, yet sadly we haven't seen this one come back full circle. I wish so badly that dressing with class and elegancy would come back! Just imagine how amazing it would be to see women dress like these two beauty's and men dressing in sharp tucks looking like handsome gentlemen. 💖
well tomorrow I am walking all dressed up into a room where the guy i have liked for ages is going to be and I am taking inspiration from these two queens
😂 that pair of allegedly, Helliweird satanick masonick entertainment industry created, deceiver sellouts that were gender inverted males masquerading as females, would not know feminine energy of it smacked them in the face.
That synchronized entrance was just FASHION ICONIC!? They embody the Sun & Moon polar opposite trope and neither one outshines the other. 😳😍 It's really nice to see two iconic women enjoying their time together without being catty ☺️🫡❤️
Even to this day, that entrance and the beauty of these ladies is breathtaking. I bet the whole room stopped what they were doing and was mesmerised. I was when l watched this film and this scene. They were night and day. Actresses today do not have that golden age star power and never will.
Within 9 years Marily would be in Heaven, on the order of the Attorney General of the United States Bobby Kennedy, after their affair. Being ignored, Marilyn threatened to release secrets revealed in pillow talk, including that JFK had taken her to Area 51. (FBI files). She knew secrets about the Kennedy's vendetta against Fidel Castro, and their determination to destroy the Mafia. All this was known from bugs that had been planted in her roof. On the late afternoon of August 5th 1962, those bugs recorded Marilyn being thrown up walls by Bobby Kennedy's secret service thugs, in his presence, because she wouldn't give him her diary. He knew she wrote in the diary religiously every night. They gave her a hot shot enema and left. She became hysterical, and out of control. Bobby Kennedy called her psychiatrist and told him that Marilyn was a problem and to 'get over there and quieten her.' By this time she had become extremely ill from the hotshot. When an ambulance was called, paramedics Leibovitz and Hall, had her stable, and one was about to run for the gurney. In came Ralph Greenson, and he ordered them away from her. Three months after she sang Happy Birthday to Bobby's brother, PresidentJohn Kennedy, Marilyn was injected with full strength Nembutal directly to her heart. Five people saw her die, including an LA cop, her supposed best friend Pat Newcombe, the Kennedy's brother in law, actor Peter Lawford, and the two paramedics, who went underground for years from fear. Marilyn's best friend went sailing with the President and his brother in law a week after Marilyn's murder. And she suddenly became rich enough to go on an extended holiday to Europe. Within six years, both Kennedy brothers were assassinated. Jane Russell was quoted as saying, 'Marilyn just could not understand people being mean.'
Hollywood always been "dark" behind the curtains but now it's dark in front of everybody... Unfortunately most people are just blind to even things that knocking their eyes out....
The beauty of those era are so incomparable… they are equally gorgeous in different ways, blond & brunette, & the men looked so suave, very well suited ❤
Truly iconic. One of the most powerful entrances in the history of film. The composition, the contrasting colors, the frame, and - of course - the dual power of these two is excellence in motion, excellence captured in only a few seconds. Their entrance at the ship's dock is equally captivating.
@@fixinfkinsandwiches6183 of course she'd "steal" the scene, she's the more famous one, she's the icon, but that doesn't make Jane any less beautiful, she was a gorgeous woman who was looking fricking hot in that dress, AND no matter how "better looking brunette" they picked, people would still put Marilyn way above than her and some would even put her down to praise Marilyn, just like you did. So instead of hating on the internet, learn to appreciate others or atleast respect.
@@fixinfkinsandwiches6183 you can definitely have an "opinion", you can definitely "write whatever you want", I'm only telling you not to be so rude about it, the way you looked down upon Jane was disrespectful, you could share your "opinion" nicely and respectfully but you chose to be mean, ig you're right you don't need to respect anyone cause you just don't know how to do so. Anyway being a fan is good, I'm a Marilyn fan too, just don't be a toxic one.
These two women with short hair… are absolutely stunning. 💯 times better looking than anyone I’ve ever seen on You Tube with long hair. Think about that for a minute.. it’s all about the face.
It's rumored that they had an instant friendship connection the minute they met! They had an undeniable chemistry that oozed out of them on screen! The perfect ying and yang of beauty!
I actually think it was the other way around Marilyn knows you can see her little smile on her face sexy playful whereas Jane serous and a little worried … Just my impression
@@blancasalgado9568 I suppose everyone interpretation is different .. Jane was a well established actress already and Marilyn looked up to her and Jane said she helped her a lot so I'd say nothing to worry about ))))
Two goddeses of an era that sad enough never wil come back, the time of the movie divas. Class and glamour are dripping on the floor. I wish that woman today look like it today, the dresses ,hairstyles, the whole aura , i love it ❤
@@valentinr.dominguez2892 The did this because they wanted to more subtly influence our thinking and slip in belief that what you see in the movies is somehow reality. That way they can slip in messages of how they want people to behave and what to believe, it also makes people have unrealistic expectations on how life, love, beauty, success etc. is supposed to be and if theirs doesn’t look like it they’re somehow failing. Because it looks so next door but it really isn’t. When it was just glitz and glamour and entertainment people took it like that and led their own lives they were quite happy with.
In my opinion everyone looks good in red no matter if they're dark or light. I always love seeing people with blond hair wear red lipstick, may sound weird but i would wear bright red lipstick when I had blond hair and loved it. I have pale skin and dark curly hair and my go to dress color is always red❤️
@@Heaven13420 yes yes red is fitted for everyone but it will compliment you if you choose the right shade of red for your skin. I believe your winter type but i never see you so well.... Everyone has a right to choose whatver to wear after all 🤷♀️😊
@@Yassi_gorl Oh, ik I just meant the color red in general but ofc the shade is different to everyone. I wouldn't say I'm a winter, I'm pale but I have a warmer olive type under tone. Bright Ruby red is usually the best on me.
I love Jane, she got saved as a born again Christian. However Marilyn has the sass in her walk, she has swagger for a girl, look at her body language as if she doesn't care
@@KatrinaJoseph "okay, if that's what u feel. We all are entitled to our views and opinions." wow we learn something new everyday. thanks for that amazing revolutionary revelation. you were supposed to reply with something interesting, not state the obvious.

It is so amazing the amount of effort and care Marilyn puts into her facial expressions always… no one will ever come close to creating the same aura she did
Trampy does not draw respect, self confidence and self respect does. Don't cheapen yourself. I just saw a video short of a famous actress and she has on that outfit and from the back of her you could see her whole butt and she's married on top of that. What married woman goes out almost naked for all to see?
Absolutely complimented each other on screen no one can match them and I love the way a Monroe uses her mouth she does and says so much with those lips of hers it's unreal❤❤❤
