To piggyback on this, generally speaking if you need chaos res and one other mod, its always worth crafting as t1 chaos res is very rare unless its forced, and it adds some 5x to the value of the rare, so spamming essence of envy on fractured t1 suppression until you hit t3-1 life and an empty prefix/suffx or w/e you need, always worth it since chaos res SS life gear is overpriced as shit

Yeah, great guide. I followed the boots he was trying to craft at the 14 minute mark using Craft of Exile, and where it took him 5 essences to hit it, it took me 126. 😂 Crafting is _starting_ to make a tiny bit of sense.....

I feel the same as you. I understand the concept. I still barely even know what’s a prefix and a suffix so the whole process is time consuming to ensure I’m doing it correctly.

Don't get hung up on the terms. You could call Prefixes "Mod Pool A" and Suffixes "Mod Pool B". The only important things to know are: *Each modifier will only ever be found in pool A or in pool B, never both, and they never change. If it's in A (prefixes), it'll always be in A. *Each item can have a maximum of 3 suffixes and 3 prefixes (unless you change one into an implicit like he did in this video. That removes it from counting towards how many suffixes or prefixes you have on an item) *Suffixes and Prefixes are easily losable, so be careful when re-rolling an items Affixes ("affix" is the term for talking about prefixes and suffixes at the same time. It's like saying "they" instead of he or she). ***When I was new to the game, I assumed any currency that re-rolled an item meant losing all the affixes. Didn't know until far too long that if you first make an item "magic" (blue) with an orb of transmutation, whatever affix it rolls with will remain there if you then make that item into a rare with a Regal Orb. On the magic item that is

Only "Implicit" modifiers will stay after a scour. Implicit's will always be the one at the top separated from the others by a line below it letting you know it's separate (additionally, you can also hit CTRL to check which mods are implicit, prefix, or affix) If an item is normal and not magic, anything written in blue on the item is implicit and will never go away since it's impossible for a normal item to have a prefix or affix, so anything there MUST be an implicit. Just make sure the top of the items description box is grey and not blue....sometimes magic items look like normal items and vice versa, and what you think is a normal item with a locked implicit is actually a magic item with a destroyable prefix/affix instead. I've made that mistake....more than once I'm ashamed to admit. If you find a good normal item, (especially early in a build) that has a good mod and the description box is grey, you can upgrade it to magic or rare without worry that you'll lose the good implicit mod it has. Just don't waste currency by doing that to any item lower than 60 unless you're really struggling staying alive. Last tip, make sure you know the chaos orb vendor recipe. You can make a few dozen chaos's in an evening as long as you're focused on picking up dropped items that you need for the recipe. Those handful of chaos orbs can be traded for some pretty nice upgraded gear from what you're probably wearing at around level 58 (the earliest you can effectively do the chaos orb vendor recipe. @@killed_bya_bot7775

@@mattb6646 the hole goes deeper, when mixing this with harvest crafting, resonators,beasts, fracturing the item yourself.. etc... you can do it from scratch pretty much to higher than this example.

Is there a prefixes can't be change version of beast?

@@mattb6646 No, it only works with suffixes cannot be changed mod because that's the only metamod that is also a prefix. Wild bristle matron adds a random metamod so only by having full suffixes you can get what you want deterministically

True! All my rares are niw made by me, crafting. Made my first hundred divs by crafting items and swlling them. I just turned my 28 div to a possible 200 div item if I get lucky.

a really short quickstarter guide, how I start: 1.: choose a league starter (In my situation it's mostly just one char for the league) 2.: get into maps 3.: get enough map completions to specialize your Atlas tree for getting maps and all essence notes (one essence guaranteed, more remnant of corruptions, more essences, doubled essences if shrieked etc.). That's around 35-50 points. 4.: at this point, you should have a character capable of handling essence mobs in T1 to T3 maps and a few chaos to pay 2c for essence mod at the map device. 5.: run let's say 100 maps T1 - T2 (can be even normal or magic, quantity doesn't matter) -> that's 3 essence mobs per map -> 300 essence mobs in total. 6.: upgrade all essences to "Deafening" (except the four specials ones obviously) 7.: sell them I made around 10 - 12 div just by selling essences within 70-80 maps. and since you are running low tier maps, you can be really fast. One note on remnant of corruptions: just use them on Shrieking Essence of Misery, Shrieking Essence of Envy, Shrieking Essence of Dread, Shrieking Essence of Scorn afterwards you can switch to something else. I personally like harvest, which can also be really prifitable. I hope this helps a litte bit :)

really depends on what you want. Essences, resonators, harvest reforges and alt regal are all viable options
