I waterfasted for 40 days and cured my fibroid tumors. They are literally gone. It's been about 10 years later and I still dont have fibroid tumors! NO pain there every month either! I was able to have a baby because of it. I started 23 hour intermittent fasting with one meal a day and it's helping my health issues overall. It is amazing!
Congrats. Very happy for you. Motherhood is a great blessing. Did you not feeling hungry when you did not eat food for forty long days? How did you survive only on water?
I had a very large fibroid tumour removed surgery twice so scared of it coming back. Will this help ? I had severe clots n long heavy heavy bleeds like 5 months non stop. Plz tel me keto n fasting works? How many calories r we allowed

@@thetree7694 There's a hormone called ghrelin that gives us those hungry-tummy-grumbling feelings, it kicks in hard at the beginning of a prolonged fast (making you think you're starving!) but subsides within a few days.
Greetings every body wanted to provide an update. I started intermitten fasting on nov 30th 2022. Was 239 pounds. By december 19th I was 228.2. Today is february 1st 2023 I currently weigh 215 pounds. So in two months Ive lost a total of 23 pounds. My doctor did a double take when I came in today. He was surprised to see me lose so much weight. My blood pressure has also improved. I get another a1c test in march. Ill keep you posted.
Oh wow! Kuddos to you!!! This is so inspiring for me and I’m sure everyone else…thank you for sharing! I’m currently fasting since Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm Today is Friday I’m still fasting…can’t believe I haven’t eaten yet 😁 we’ll see..continued good luck!
Main takeaways: 2:20: Do intermittent fasting (work up to 18 hours of fasting) 5:35: Eat a high-quality, nutrient-dense keto diet 8:57: Don’t snack; have two meals with no snacking in between 10:00: Drink water with apple cider vinegar and/or fresh lemon juice 11:09: Eat a large salad at the start of one of your (or both) meals 16:09: Drink green tea and other teas: cinnamon, ginger, garcinia, ginseng 17:51: Consider taking b vitamin supplements and electrolyte powder with trace minerals, especially potassium 21:45: Avoid alcoholic drinks
After I saw this video I went to my NP and discussed this with her. She basically told me it's not good for me😢 I said to myself will I listen to this NP or this MD. Well I listened to you and started intermittent fasting according to my age and fast forward a year later and I'm down 51 pounds. My blood sugars are under 250 and better. Thank you Dr Berg 🙏
That’s what I was told by a so called nutritionist too, that it was not a good idea. I got pissed off because by then, I had done some fasting and adjusted my nutritional intake according to Dr. Berg’s recommendation and was feeling healthier and energetic. I never looked back since! You know it’s working when you see results and you feel great. Keep going.
@@alixanderiashay4049I bet he has helped more people than the so-called MD’s out there who are quick to prescribe meds rather than address the root cause of your problem.

I've been intermittent fasting for about 3 months and I'm a completely different person. I've smoked cigarettes and weed, done lots of meth and other drugs, drank enough alcohol to kill the average person, and ate nothing but processed foods, until I turned 30 in January, and yoga, fasting, quitting all drugs, and eating organic, or in my case microgreens and sprouts with fresh farm eggs, and I don't feel like I'm dying any more lol. If anyone reads this, know that you can get healthy! You just have to want to do it! And honestly, it's been really fun! And because I'm changing my life to get healthy, my girlfriend has as well! Just by association!
Im coming back 2 years later having lost 100lbs with the advice of Dr Berg and Dr Fung. Fasting literally changed my life. My childlike energy returned and so did the spring in my step. When fasting i hardly ever feel anxious, which is something i used to really suffer with. Not only did it do wonders for my weight but also my mental health. I'd recommend this to anyone. You will always get the detractors saying 'its unhealthy' or 'you're just starving yourself'. Dont listen to them!
Congratulations. Please can I ask whether you got any loose skin? Di you do two meals a day or one meal a day? Also, do you mind if I ask whether you are male or female and how old? Thank you.
@Liz Clegg I did have some loose skin which went down alot over the course of a year. Im male and 25 years old. I ate one meal a day which contained no processed foods/sugars. No white carbs. Foods high in fibre. This was 90% of the time. I still had times where i let loose and didnt fast but never felt the urge to binge. It took 4 months and i lost 100lbs

Yes. My parents still call me and ask if i am eating a breakfast because i 've never liked a breakfast and always skipped it. It felt too heavy on my stomach,i had no desire to eat. I love listening to this guy. He's done more for my health than my PCP has in 30 years. His intermittent fasting has got me 48 pounds lighter, off 4 separate prescription meds and I have the bloodwork and BP numbers to back it up. So many benifits to his lectures, even strange ones I cannot explain like loose teeth and frequent bleeding from my gums for decades. A year ago Dr. Berg got me on taking daily D3 supplements and within 6-7 months I noticed my gums no longer bleed and my teeth are tight and stronger. My Vitamin D3 is a combination of D3 and K2 and subsequent videos he explained how K2 puts calcium in your bones instead of your arteries. I have no idea if the K2 or D3 or both were the reason for this but it was a welcome "side effect" of yet another Dr. Berg lecture. Hats off to you sir!

@@RakhiRaman688 Not OP, but this is what I do and I have gone from 62kg-56kg so far: As a 5'3 female, I eat around 1100 calories per day as of now (500cal deficit), intermittent fasting is pretty useful for me No breakfast, I break my fast at 11:00 with a cup of decaf Beanie coffee with a teaspoon or erythritol/monk fruit sweetener and a splash of almond/oat milk and maybe with a light snack too. Anywhere from 12 to half 1: fairly light lunch (eg. Grilled chicken with konjac noodles and miso soup, tofu with salad and ham etc.) 5-ish: big dinner to keep me full through the night, very fat heavy to satiate (eg. 3 scrambled eggs with two sausages, big plate of broccoli topped with a generous helping of mozzarella with chicken or ham). High-fat snack after dinner: (eg, Cheesestring, pork puffs, seaweed. Dollop of peanut butter if I feel particularly indulgent that day and can spare the calories. Skyr is also very filling, but careful to to have not much as 150g has 6 carbs.) Stop eating by 7. Now that it's getting colder, sometimes I like to make myself a nice cup of cocoa before cut-off time if I have enough calories left (cut of hot unsweetened almond milk, few teaspoons of cocoa/cacao powder, teaspoon of erythritol/monk fruit sweetener and a bit of cinnamon. Warm, chocolatey heaven without the sugar.) I cannot emphasise how much IF has helped me control my appetite, before I couldn't stop myself from binging on junk after breakfast and would easily surpass over 2000 calories per day with how much rubbish I was shovelling into my mouth. Now sometimes I don't even feel that hungry come lunchtime, it's really worth giving it a go! Log everything you eat, I use an app called "Macros" and have my macro percentages set at 5% carbs, 35% protein and 60% fats. Good luck!

@@thetree7694 if your like me and eating feels good but makes you sluggish and tired, then you might find it beneficial to avoid eating until later. A lot of people get tired after a big meal, especially high carb ones, so waiting until later to eat might be better. Then you can focus on tasks better throughout the day. It's also arguably better to workout fasted. I do IF and will sometimes fast 24-48 hours, helps me stop thinking about and relying on food and can get your body into autophagy where healing can happen. I also do fasts to get me back into ketosis faster along with anaerobic exercise. Check out The Galen Foundation on RU-vid, they have some really good talks on fasting, IF and general health. And if you want, I have a playlist of health related RU-vid videos, on my channel that I've compiled.
I love my only child who’s a 33-year old mother of two. She’s an exercise buff & still struggles to lose belly fat. Today I started sharing with her what I‘ve been learning from Dr. Berg these past few weeks. If it works for me & so many others, I’m sure it will for her. Thanks a lot, Dr. Berg.
It works for me! And I’d like to stick to it as my new life style. I lost 15 pounds in about three months. And now I am in my ideal weight. My A1C went from 5.8 to 5.3. Triglycerides from 160 down to 90. All my blood markers look great except my LDL went sky high. I am working on it. Adding some carbs back. Will see how I am doing next blood test.
Thanks so much Dr Berg. It’s actually working for me too regardless of age. I’ve shared it with my friends and relatives. I’ve lost 12 lbs in the last 4 months. You won’t see results until after the first month. You have to be patient. I go with 16-8 window and my goal is to lose another 7-10 pounds. I still eat normal food, but less sugar, less carbs, less red meat, more veggies & nuts, no late snacks, no boba drinks 😂. I try to take at least a 2 miles walking 4 times a week. Well, I don’t want to cut off everything but still treat myself my favorite sweets sometimes 😊. I feel healthier, less hungry and craving for sweets. The most basic way to start intermittent fasting is to begin with a 12 hour fast, then progress to 16:8 as you get more comfortable then to OMAD. Super easy 🤓 Effortless weight loss and health.

Nope. It's REALLY called "How Much Do You Want It." It's easier go some because they were not raised on sugar -but it's definitely not easy. Ask yourself how much you want your result and then try it for a week. Then maybe later 2 weeks. I CAN TESTIFY that at least getting COMPLETELY OFF OF PURE SUGAR (the crap you would normally shove into your coffees and teas) was surprisingly easy. And then when I lost the taste for that... I just could NOT do sodas. The 2 ltr coca cola habit had vanished and almost Everything tasted too sweet... And so, like Mum had always dreamed, here I was ASKING for cabbage and broccoli and ANY kind of SALAD. It's not all quick, but it's WONDERFUL. Your Palate changes. And you DO start t,o feel better. I'm only on Day 2, but reading and watching through the bids, I can see that my body was ALREADY screaming KETO when I didn't even know what it was. Good luck and best health BABE!!!
I’m going to make this short and sweet. For years I’ve exercised off and on I would lose a little weight, but once I stopped it would come back. My highest weight was 255 lbs. I’m 6 feet tall. Most people would not have considered me fat they would call me solid. I had 3 ahh moments, first I went to a gym for an evaluation the trainer said losing weight is more about what I eat than exercise, then a couple of years later I went to join a gym closer to home I thought I was in pretty good shape. The trainer had me do a few exercises I felt like I was going to puke up my guts. Then my doctor told me my blood pressure was a little high. These were my wake up calls. I’m not sure how or when I started intermittent fasting, but it was a total game changer. I went from 255 lbs. to maintaining 200 lbs. I notice my body would fight me at 200lbs, my goal was to get to 180, so 2 months ago I decided to cut sugar out of my diet no more cakes and cookies. I’m now down to 180 all of my weight markers are green except for my subcutaneous fat, I may need to get to 175. I would have never thought I could lose my gut (visceral fat) I have. I went from an extra large to a medium. My stamina has never been better. This is my testimony to intermittent fasting. P.S. I remember buying and drinking cartons of orange juice, never drinking soda thinking it was healthier. I’m so glad people can be educated on things that I was ignorant too. Thank you 🙏🏽 😊
I was not intentionally trying to fast, but after watching Dr. Berg a few times, I started drinking ACV + fresh lemon juice about an hr before bed + putting a splash of MCT oil in my coffee in the AM. I naturally wasn't hungry and eating until ~ 1PM. Again I had no intention of fasting, this was just how I naturally felt from adding these into my diet. The other interesting thing is that I also crave fattier foods and more meat/protein. I love carbs as much as anyone, but don't have as much of a desire for them now.. I've gotta say, I feel pretty darn good from doing this. I don't think it would be difficult for me to push to 3PM now if I want to take on the full fasting/keto lifestyle. So, after about a couple months of doing this, I highly recommend to do at least do those 2 things if you're looking to get started.
Regarding me , my experience in intermittent fasting at a difficult beginning, but with time you get used to it and do not feel hungry, the maximum duration of her silence is water fasting only for 37 hours, but now it is only 18 hours, when I was young, I did not have breakfast in the morning, my mother used to force me to eat, I refused, and I went I go to school without breakfast, after I come back from school I feel hungry and then start eating, this according to me is the best. I practice intermittent fasting without knowing.

Everybody always says to skip breakfast, I prefer to follow my circadian rhythms and skip dinner instead. The reason being is that your hormones are more oriented towards metabolism and fat burning during the day, whereas towards the evening your hormones are oriented towards ramping down and preparing for rest by producing melatonin. But always do what works best for you and is easiest for you to stick with with your lifestyle. Be well everyone

I started healthy keto following your recommendations with intermittent fasting (mostly OMAD), radically reducing calory intake, no gluten, lactose, sugars, starches, artificial sweeteners, MSG, refined vegetable oils, nothing, just the healthy stuff. I was only drinking yerba mate tea / ACV / water with a bit of lemon during the fasting periods. I took no supplements but fish oil capsules. My meals were mostly leafy greens, fatty meats, chicken liver, olives, eggs, salmon, almonds and pistacchios. And no alcohol at all. I lost over 6 kgs of weight since I started 3 weeks ago. In comparison, when I last did keto / carnivore, I lost the same amount of weight over 3 months. That diet was a bit dirtier: prepared meat products, omega 6, etc. Even if some weight loss is just excess water, this result is truly amazing. And thank you for that!
When following the 20-4 way, so 12 is meal 1 and 4pm is meal 2 , would scrambled egg and a protein like bacon be okay as meal one and a normal steak with white or brown rice for meal 2, would that be okay or?

Also lemon water is great for electrolytes while training during a fast.
35 year old female here. Height: 167cm (5'5"). I was 73kg (160 lbs) when I started IF. Fast-forward 10 months and I'm 50kg (110 lbs). Next step - exercise! All my weight loss has been down to nothing but IF but have lost my butt because of it so want to get it back :)
YES! When Dr. Berg says the food doesn’t control you it is SO true. I got to that point, got pregnant and started eating a lot again. I started IF again and it’s difficult but I know I can push past this to get to the point where I have the control again. Thank you Dr. Berg!
I sooo needed this, Dr. Eric! This helps me to be strong during my intermittent fastings. I can just play this video and listen to it over and over again as needed to keep me focused on my healthy eating. I had just found our last June I'm prediabetic, fatty liver, weighing 238, high blood pressure. All of my numbers are starting to go down as I continue the intermittent fastings. I thank God for teaching me through you. God's continuous blessings be upon you and your family. Much Love!
I do everything you say for years ..and I'm super healthy!! and I have a hard hands on labor intensive job!!! 6 days a week ..I feel like a gladiator with energy!!! and no wheat products prossesed foods or alchohol ..or sugar..and absolutely no hot dogs pizza or fried chicken ...ive reached a new platue. in life and it feels great!!! .I'm never going back to crap foods
I am on the second week of trial and error but I managed to eliminate carbs and sugar .and only now I started taking it more seriously bc for some reason I ve started to not feel the hunger anymore and it’s got easier .I am so full of hope I think today is the first day of actually fasting even if I started a week ago.Getting to my first day of real fasting is an accomplishment ,I know it sounds silly but I never did anything cold turkey .So I call it success 🎉 This info here keeps me on track and motivated , thank you.
Started intermitten fasting on nov 30th and weighed 239 pounds. I currently weigh 228.2 and today is decem 19th. Been doing 16 to 18 hours fasting while eating in a 6 to 8 hour window. Plan to incorporate exercise as I have done next to none and still lost weight.
Thanks Doc! Been doing the intermittent fasting now for a little over 3 months and I've lost over 30 lbs. It's really not a hard diet to stick too. Tyvm again.
Thank You Dr. Berg for helping us seekers out here to find a practical path to overall health and weight loss. This works! I’m 73 and I’ve lost probably 30+ lbs. Now I’m going to do a Triathlon in the Spring. I keep looking back on your presentations for more inspirations. I’m sending this to my sister and I hope this information will encourage her to find her way to a healthier body and life.
Since childhood I'm "trained" to have my lunch around 6pm. I'm 26 now and it's still my "lunch" time. I was never able to eat breakfast, I'm usually not hungry around the usual lunch time and if I eat lunch around that time you can bet I'll be hungry at MY lunch time like I haven't eaten a big meal yet. I used to let the food AND society direct my eating habits, but now I'll eat the way that feels the best for me. That's why I chose to do intermittent fasting.
I was at stage 3B CKD. 62 and 267 pds. I follow Dr Bergs advice and was against my Dr advice and my nutritionist advice but I did it anyway oyeah also a1c is 9.7. 3and a half months later a1c 5.6 !. 3B CKD dropped to a 2! No longer a diabetic and I have lost so far 85 pds in 3 and a half months and I feel great It works
I was 58 when I started 18-6 IF 6/20/18. 6 ft tall male. Weighed 233 lbs. My metabolism took to IF very well. I lost 2.5-2.7 lbs/wk. 4.5-5 months later I lost 50 lbs. My waist size is 34, the same it was in High School. I still continue with 18-6 IF and never gained any weight back. Nothing else worked. I never gained weight before 53 . It went slowly up even though I consistently weight trained and rode a bike for 11 miles a shot. THIS RESET EVERYTHING IN MY METABOLISM.. I avoid high carb/sugar foods/fast food/sugared breakfast cereal(which is all cereal).
I started following Dr Eric last spring. By the end of summer - I'd lost 30 pounds (it just fell off me) my mood and energy had improved. All inflammation in my body had disappeared. Thank you Dr Eric ❤
This is really true about inflammation. I did IF the last couple of years, but fell off in the last few months. I am starting again because IF controls my carpel tunnel symptoms in both wrists. Amazing results (no numbness/tingling) almost right away after starting IF. I think about what this means--that my whole body is more inflamed when I do not use IF as an eating practice.
That's fantastic! Sharing your success story to Dr. Berg's website will be highly appreciated! Please use this link: www.drberg.com/add-client-success-story
this is amazing, I came up with this plan on my own, didn't even know about intermittent fasting. I was starting keto, and this came naturally for me. I'm also eating lunch around 15h and dinner around 18h, and I'm never really starving I could go on without eating, but don't want to lengthen this small window. For me it works great, you just have to prepare lunch and diner and within 3 or 4 hours you're done you don't have to think about food after 18h till the next day at 15h. It's amazing without snacking all the time, it's a huge relief.
Very timely! I managed to get through Christmas feasting, eating keto with family, and fasting in between. I will be keto one full year in February 2022. It took many years for me to almost ruin my health. I think your message of "having patience" is so important. I will be listening to this video, over and over again. Thank you!
It’s absolutely amazing that of all the wonderfully informative videos that Dr. Berg has made, that he says intermittent fasting is the best thing you can do for your health. I have been intermittent fasting for about a year. I would feel like I’m missing out if I skipped my usual 36 hour weekly fast. The more you read about the benefits of fasting the more fascinating a study it becomes.
Thanks DOC I started intermittent fasting almost 2 weeks ago and I do 24-25 hour fast and I only eat one meal. I have lost 10 pounds in almost two weeks.
Wow that’s awesome. I am basically doing the same thing. Thought I didn’t cut out my morning coffee. I have been doing for about three weeks and fast until dinner. I maybe lost 4-4.5 lbs. I am a 63 year old woman so that doesn’t help but I’m not giving up!
Dr Berg and others just promoting the holy month of Ramadan and what Mohammed peace upon him said "we are a people that eat till we are hungry, and if we eat we don't eat till we get full". Allah is merciful to us, Thx Berg I think you fullfill your role.
My morning blood sugar yesterday was 287, just before starting this keto/IF plan. Today, one day later, my morning blood sugar was 128. I was astounded.
I watched this video and it made so much sense to me as a RN. I also was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I started IF 16-8 and have never felt better and lost the weight. More importantly I lost the inches, the ugly fat inches. I have never felt better and my AIC is the lowest it has ever been.
You finally said it!!! Yay!!! Seems obvious but people need to hear the point. “IT’S TAKEN YEARS OF TERRIBLE EATING TO GET YOU IN THE POOR HEALTH AND INSULIN RESISTANCE AND IT’S GOING TO TAKE TIME TO GET YOU INTO BETTER HEALTH.” Thank you for saying it Dr Berg.
Fasting is highly encouraged in Islam, not only fasting for the month in Ramadan, but also fasting twice per week and three specific days during the month. Yes there are health benefits, but the reward in the Hereafter is greater. Alhamdulillah (All praises is for God alone) for Islam.
Thanks for this! I just had an epiphany- I ate too much over Christmas, and now, I'm sweating and not able to sleep. My poor body is taking revenge, and I'm now going to have to start walking longer and harder in the suddenly arrived winter weather. My body no longer likes to be heavier. I hope others find a way to listen to their bodies and enjoy life the way we are designed.
I've been watching your videos occasionally and finally decided to take my first step with keto. Right now I'm still gathering information about types of meals, food in general and setting advice you give accordingly to my daily schedule. Hopefully this year will bring me benefits and a hope for making this step a lifelong change. I thank you for your time and effort in doing your videos. They are really valuable, straight to the point and dense. Hope you'll have a great 2022 and your channel will grow immensely. All the best to you Dr. Eric!
Great reminders even for those of us who are not new to IF and Keto. I'm down 48 lbs since April and am looking to maintain as part of lifestyle. It's easy once understood. Thank you again.
I was skeptical about trying this, but I was so tired of diets not working or being so difficult to stick with, I tried. I can confirm that intermittent fasting has been the ONLY thing that has suppressed my appetite. Sometimes I am still in disbelief, but it really does help if you struggle with overeating or feeling like you are never satisfied. The only thing I struggle with now is I am feeling tired more often, which this video has given me some tips on how to help with that.
I’ve been on IF for few years now and feel so much better. My body doesn’t react well days I let loose, so to speak. I’ll have joint pain and awful stomach issues. IF for life!
Thank You Dr. Berg! I have history of digestive issues like ulcer, gastritis and just last year I also had diverticulitis. I have a bad and really slow metabolism, bloating and constipation since beginning. So it’s quite confusing for me then that if I don’t eat I will have stomach issues, if I eat then I will be bloated and constipated. Then I came across your channel and watch videos for a month or two. Then end of November 2021, I start applying the lessons I learned gradually. I cut all my snacks time and ate only 3 meals. few weeks after, I remove breakfast and then dinner gradually. My portion size changed too and the type of foods I ate also changed. Am not a veggie person but I taught my self to eat it. 😅 I remove the rice, I stopped eating bread and no sugar as well. While am enjoying my food in omad schedule, I got COVID, I was really sick and no sense of taste and smell, hence I still continued to eat the suggested foods. Veggies and some protein however my meal became ADF since am not feeling hungry then. I recovered and my sense of taste and smell are also back but I didn’t crave for anything, it’s like a Normal thing, Then just last week 4 months into changing my food and habits, I finally checked and so surprised withy current weight… I was 70kg in Nov 2021 March 2022 am 57kg!!! 😭😭 Am a small person at 5’3 hence achieving such weight loss is big for me. The best part of my weight loss is that I do not have any saggy skin. I felt like 10 years younger… ☺️ Also note I don’t do HIIT I just do brisk walking once or twice a week. Feels amazing!! All this because of the right information shared by Dr. Berg and am really thankful.. Since a lot notice my good weight loss I keep on suggesting them to follow your RU-vid channel and watch your amazing videos!!! Again thank you Dr. Berg!! ❤️
Can you pls tell me if what food did eat during your first time low carb diet..me also i have ulcer( gerd)that s why i dont know what to eat if i will not ifeel hungry and headache as well...thank you hope u will response this..
I think knowing to wait through the hunger feelings to determine if its real hunger is important to note. Clear and simple explanations. This all makes me watch your sessions longer. This was great advice. Thank you, Dr Berg.
Not trying to lose weight but to build my muscle back up after a lazier couple of years… and one thing I am not sure of is what a growling stomach means. Because that’s my “let’s eat” trigger. And I don’t want to under-eat either.
I’m bad every year at holiday time (I never learn) , I ate everything,, ,even desserts. Now I’m glad for this encouraging message from Dr. Berg. Time to rededicate myself. I have to do this, I have type 2 diabetes and this plan helps me tremendously. Thank you Dr. Berg , sometimes it takes fasting to turn blood sugar around.
Don’t beat yourself up. That triples the harm. Jump back in to IF. Prepare ur body for a nice extended fast reboot the system. Ur body is so intelligent. It knows what to do when you slip a little. Really. It’s when we completely fall back into bad habits when our body doesn’t know how to handle it. BUT. Even THEN. You can still recover. I slipped a little too during these holiday. It’s why I felt compelled to respond. Good luck
Munted myself over 3 days of Christmas eating aswell, after a couple of months of keto and if got me of blood pressure medication, 3 days of Christmas food got me back on. Strengthened my resolve thats for sure.
Dear Janice, keep asking yourself “why”? Why do you want to improve your health. Once you find the real answer-you will start and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Good luck friend.
I'm 102kg when I started intermittent fasting (18:6) a month ago . I bought a bike for exercise for about 1hr biking around our subdivision in the morning . Now I'm 92kg . Will continue doing IF and update this after a month. My goal weight is 65kg
@@Shubs9519 yes , I'm now doing 20:4 IF . My current weight is 84kg feeling a lot more better and lighter 😆. I see a lot of changes in my waistline and thighs also my stomach is much less smaller . Disciplined is the key and I believe my self I will achieve my goal weight this year 🥳
@@tru5749 i started exercising recently 7th September to be precise.....i was 100 kgs with height 178 cms on 1st august to be exact .....started IF (20:4) 2 days back.....with omad but having milk tea twice in that period, one at the end of fasting and another before the starting of fasting.....today morning when I checked my weight was 89.9 kgs dunno if it's the exercise or IF omad stuff, earlier i was doing dieting since 20th August 2 meals a day kind stuff now switched to omad believe me it's working.....and certainly doing wonders for me.... 😊😊
@@tru5749 Wats your height sir? According to my height i would like my weight to be around 70 kgs else I'll be Looking skinny because most of the weight in my body is because of high density of bone and broad shoulders along with huge torso.....i got smaller legs..... 😅 Do you have any suggestions for me????
@@Shubs9519 I'm also new to IF and losing weight . We have the same height lol 😆. Well I have a picture of me when I was 70kg and I look good and healthy on that that's why it's my goal weight . I think being lower than that make me look like I have sickness 😆. Yes OMAD shows a lot of result and of course combine with exercise too . And watching calorie intake . I lose weight more when Im on OMAD rather than TMAD also I try to fast 48hours and the most significant change is my face skin looks tighter and having less pimples . My doctor advise to me is when I reach 80kg from light exercise I do moderate exercise . I do biking 4 times a week for an hour and half more or less (30km) . When I reach 80 I will adjust it to 5 times a week (45km per day). Hope we can achieved our goal weight and continue practicing healthy way of eating and discipline . I'm excited to reach my goal so I can post the before and after , the fruits of my labor 😆.
I did not have to lose weight when I began intermittent fasting. But after I started, my energy increased exponentially. I was already a mountain trail runner. But now I feel absolutely fresh even after running for 3 hours. I have to eat much less to keep my energy levels up during very long endurance exercise (6+ hrs.) I've gotten very lean and muscular and I didn't even realize how much slower I was when I was carrying an extra 10 or 15 lbs of fat.
As ex bodybuilder it always been breakfast is always been told it is the most important meal of the day . But lately my body has not wanted to eat breakfast and I have found your channel and learning about intermittent fasting saying don't eat breakfasts . I am on my 1st day to eat at 1 pm and 5 pm . Thanks for your videos they are very helpful . God Bless
Another great video. I love doing intermittent fasting, especially now after Christmas to "wash" excess sugars. 👍 I've done 24h fasting, I hope to go until 48h and try to reach 72h if possible.
This works and what helps me tremendously is electrolytes in my morning I'll do 1scoop of Dr.Berg electrolyte powder with 2tablespoons of acv going on 7yrs of intermittent fasting maintaining over 50lb weight loss I'll be 57 in August on no medication and no aches and pains!
I have PCOS and suffering form obesity since childhood. I've started I.F this month and lost about 4 pounds in 15 days , Alhamdulillah. Hope I'll reach my goal In sha Allah.
Thank you so much Dr! The information you provide on your channel has been life changing not just for me, but for my 15 year old son who has epilepsy. I really feel like we’ve taken back our health and our lives! Appreciate all you do!
Thank you, thank you! I've lost 20lbs in four months. I did it because I don't want to end up with illnesses related to weight gain. I feel so much better!
Love this guy - you explain everything so clearly, thoroughly and yet simply so we can implement these positive interventions into our everyday lives. Thankyou.
I did 16:8. 6 yrs ago, with 5 days of exercise. I went from 185 to 140. During covid, I drank and gained all back. I am now doing ADF. I've done a 72 hr fast, which is my longest, but it wasn't for me. I am 44-year-old mother of 4 and 510. People tell me I look good, but I am personally not comfortable. My goal is to be 150 to 160. The energy is amazing, and my brain feels more energetic with thinking. 😊 I love fasting. Great video ❤
Dr. Berg - When I first found your videos and channel they were very informative and useful but short, like 5 mins tops for every video. I noticed that towards second part of this year, your videos gradually become longer and longer while providing as much as value. I just wanted to show you my gratitude and thank you sincerely for all the effort you put in creating these wonderful videos and sharing it for free. I'm sure you have helped millions of people change their lives for the better and hope you continue this amazing trend. Stay safe, wishing you the best, and have a happy holidays :)
