I wonder what the trick is to not burn out... I think the longest time I've played continuously before burning out and taking a break has been 8 months
@@karlsmith9186 Maybe look for an alternate game thats less involved just to play like here and there while you are also playing wow. I sometimes play the old starcraft game from a cd just to change it up a bit and take little breaks from wow. I will play SC for an evening or maybe another game for just an hour or two then back to wow.
I just tried to get back into the game after quitting before shadowlands... I am so extremely overwhelmed just by logging in, FOMO events and deadlines all over the place

I’ve actually really enjoyed MoP Remix. Very non punishing way to learn new classes and specs as well. Get familiar with all the spells and abilities without holding back your raid or dungeon group.
Yep, I just came back after a 4 year break. I don't foresee myself raiding going forward, too many life commitments. But taking 15 minutes to go through a quick raid has been so much fun.
I'm more excited about the pre patch than I am War Within. The Warband system and new transmog options are a game changer for me. The possibilities this opens up for the myriad of alts I've used over the years has me hype. I'm primarily a collector these days.
4:20 if you're going to use Bullions on TMOG, BUY THE WEAPON, by now any weapon will be free upgrades up to your current iLVL and you unlock 4 appearances for the price of 2 bullions. ALSO if you use ATT, it will say you haven't collected certain appearances because they're named/ID differently than their raid counterpart versions. EDIT: Should also work for all shields
Hi. I'm not sure about the bullion part. For example, the fated raids we had in Shadowland's vendors are still there, and I even have few of the old coins in my bags that I can use for transmog. On that alone I think those vendors will also stay, just the bullions wont be able to be gain anymore.
Thaks a lot for mentioning that "Burnout" Info , I do have to agree than after 20 years of wow sometimes it's getting difficult to keep enjoying the game. Even if I really love Wow, sometimes I feel kindda "bored". a little break at the beginning of August and my job as a Restaurant Manager will keep me a bit away from the game and make me do that break much appreciated just before TWW launch ;) Thanks Kelani ;)
For spending your bullions on tmog, remember that you can buy each weapon coloration for 1 bullion each...but! If you can buy an awakened variant (2 bullion's worth), you'll collect all 4 colors as you upgrade the item throught the iLevels.

@@Xainfinenif you want the weapon mogs, yes. The last season of SL had a quest for empowered raids due weapons but that went away with DF. Then again, there's always groups doing old content, so probably not a huge deal.
your gameplay always looks the most vibrant and smooth. have you ever done a video about your graphic settings? most youtubers have fottage like it looks for me too with the AA but yours is different, "richer" and in depth kind of. tough to describe! simply looks amazing !
While I wait, I am going to work on the Ochre Dreamtalon mount by doing the "Smoldering Sprout" quests in Emerald dream, and Obtain "Blig Slick in the City". I was too late discovering them as I was playing this expac very causually, but at least I've got something to do!
I myself did the furbolg language grind not too long ago. Thankfully it wasn't that bad now that we're nearly unkillable versus regular overworld zone mobs - at least if a tank. So my main is a druid, and the elites in the lava area where the Baskiron or whatsisname world boss spawns couldn't dent me in bear mode even if I had a whole bunch of them on me. Was just a matter of rounding up as many as I could find and mow them down, then loot up to dozens of the quest items needed to hand in for furbolg rep all at once, then do a bunch of super easy quests, and boom - done. One thankless task down, 1000 more to go! :D There's SO much obscure stuff to do in all of the most recent expansions, going back to BfA at least (Waist of Time, anyone? lol)... Meta achievements for Mechagon/Nazjatar take ages to finish and some rely on some wicked RNG (like the rust monowheel mount from mechagon for example), same with Zereth Mortis and Korthia in Shadowlands, and finishing all the faction base achievements and collectibles is an unbelievable grind and timesink in itself. Just the massive amount of anima and "grateful gifts" (which isn't much of a gift since they demand them back in return for REAL rewards lol) for stuff like pets, mounts and transmogs is completely effing insane. You get only a handful of gratefuls per day even with a fully built-up base (which costs crazy amounts of anima and souls), so it takes eternities to buy everything if you literally don't keep at it EVERY DAY on multiple characters. Bleccchhh! It's like Blizz wants people to develop burnout and drop their subscriptions. :/

That ex Reagent bank is def going to come in handy, I'm constantly have to free up slots in my existing one. Being able to just move that to another bank is going to be a godsend when I'm working on my alt's profs. I'm kinda a hoarder when it comes to my reg bank too as I've got junk from Wrath still in there and a bunch of stuff I thought they might turn into toys later on down the road and ex pets I keep telling myself will be worth something someday, not to mention gear tokens that I told myself I'd send to my alts but never did and on and on :D. I really need get in there someday and bite the bullet and just clean it out. As for the expac itself I'm in no hurry to get it. I plan to wait till closer to the holiday's when, hopefully, they'll have some of the inevitable launch-bugs worked out and at least maybe the first few wings of lfr are avail. Then I'll buy a 6mos sub and give a go. Till then I'm checking out Wuthering Waves, Tarisland, and Bleach: Brave Souls. :D

"Reagent" is three syllables. ree-AY-gent. (think, he's a station agent. again? yes, he's a re-agent!) "Azure" has the accent on the first syllable, AZJ-ure, not ah-ZOOR. 😉 Keep up the great work!! yes the war within is going to be very similar to dragonflight, not much has changed or been added so if you enjoyed dragonflight you'll probably enjoy the war within too
If you make the evoker alts that you intend on leveling, MAKE SURE YOU LOG IN AS THEM AT LEAST ONCE. If you don't, there is a high chance that when they change the starting level for Dracthyr from 58 that they scale down if you haven't logged in at least once. How do I know? Because that's what happened to Demon Hunters when they changed scaling and starting level! Obviously this isn't a guarantee, but the risk exists.
also, if you make alts in Remix in timerunning you can use that to skip the first 10 levels of leveling a non-allied race. again, I would log them in at least once to make sure they don't get bumped back to level 1... just in case.
FWIW, it's not that hard to get to 480 right now, even before the catch up gear. I've felt the itch to get some alts geared to try them out in season 4, chars I haven't played since Season 2. Just queued for Heroic dungeons, got gear from there, then queued for Raid Finder, got gear and bullions from there, did the weekly and catalyzed my tier and I was 480 after a few hours. Just for anyone wondering what the current experience is like.
Question about the prepatch: Warbands are in right? Is the new tmog system also in, and how long is the raid lockout for older raids? Only thing i want to do before TWW is to collect old sets.
I have a question: You mentioned crafting orders and on Malygos you never get requests and it seems no one makes use of them. Are they used on other servers?
I still have a dinar from Shadowlands S4 because I take forever to decide on buying things. I can confirm those vendors are still there if you have the currency in your bag/bank. I hope the same will happen for the bullion. And it's a concern.
yknow what wow should add, a mass sell or mass delete way in the bank or bags, same with reagent bank, imagine just mass selling everything to the AH or just mass selling everything to your yak guy or just deleting shit, cause egoing through 300 fucking things for every char is a pain in the bee-hind
Can't wait for the next exp, so I can play other stuffs in the next year. @_@ nothing wrong with TWW, but as someone who doesn't do nothing competitive, I'm good taking a time to let game comes close to get out of the true beta version.
So realistically if I quit mid expansion and am coming back and have no idea what’s going on, if I just run some lfr is that my best bet? Remix got me to come back and I’ve level 7 characters this week, but I’ve still not caught up on my main. The slog of leveling up dragon riding was off putting to me. 😅
Talking a finding the right guild! I would like to find a guild that raid during the day morning hours would be best..... I live west coast times ... I been unlucky to find 1 guild that raids in the morning.. I clean out a few banks and made 300k so far )
The price of the warband bank tabs is not player friendly. Storage in this game is already terrible. Why make something that helps with it unreachable by most players?
What to do: Play something else Take a nap Make some food Do literally anything else because expansion will negate everything you do especially at the end of the last one.

every wow youtuber in a nutshell making wow seem like some kind of job you need to do. no you dont need to do this folks. just enjoy what little time this 20 year old game has left before the next big advancement in gaming comes along while WoW is stuck on a 2004 game engine.
And yet, the game still works…. You do know the engine gets updated all the time, right? Yes, it’s old tech, but redoing the whole world using a new engine would be a ton of work.
The game isn't using the original 1999-2003 engine anymore. Its been transplanting and updated massively since Cata and MoP. What separates WoW from other MMOs (and I've played most of them since 1999) is that each expansion is pretty much a sequel and updated game in itself. Not many other MMO expansions can say the same of their meager (expansions in EverQuest was more like an update patch or two in WoW) offerings outside of FFXIV, ESO, GW2, and a couple others. The game has its downsides and quirks still, but its enough to keep me subbed since 2005 outside of spending 10 years in FFXIV as well.

Dont forget the unique weapon mogs you can only get from Remix that can NOT be bought with bronze and you actually have to drop them for you. Seems like no one ever mentions that one.
They're very hard to get though, as the drops are completely random and also dependent on which class you are. IE maces won't drop for hunters, might even be that agility maces won't drop for priests etc and bows likely won't drop for warriors and rogues even though they can equip them and so on...so a mess really. I'd pick these weapons up when they appear on the trading post, much easier that way. :)
can confirm in just 9 days i got a mop remix toon to max gear which made him god-mode (did raids(any version for time, dailies , 2xdung 2x senarios, world bosses, achives(the explorations ones) ,trove of thunder king)
Hey i just got one char to 70 and havent even done all the dragonflight campaign quests or unlocked the cavern and the erm.. reach ? I was super overwhelmed in valdrakken tbh. Should i do the campaign quests or does it make more sense to use the pandaria remix while it lasts ? Edit : Ok seems i should do remix until the pre patch event and then get some gear.
I'm wondering if there's anything specific that a new player could do before War Within. As in I haven't played in 8 years or so. Dunno if it's worth dedicating a video to something like that. I'm sure there's still a bunch of people like me out there who are a bit lost :P This was def already pretty helpful though, you got a sub.
Wish now was the opportunity to level non-evoker Dracthyr. Took advantage of remix to race change my pally and create a shaman, but they will both be moot if those hybrid classes become available as Dracthyr.
I know i'm part of the problem with the overall design of the original game, but life happens and I've been playing for 18 years now. I dedicated 10 years to some pretty hard core events. I still like the game so being able to consume all these updates and still have fun playing is pretty great for me. No guild, I just log on and do 'my' thing. Thanks for the constant good content.
Ok I didn't know that there is a black market. Evoker are Boring for me to play... But from Level 10 like an ALlied Race I think is MUCH better than directly with 58. DF had TO MUCH to do! I have nearly no space for anything! >< And I hate removing things I have memories on! I'm bad in making Gold...
