In the event these bumpers are shown to interfere with a vehicle's, engineering to protect the cabins occupants; expect the insurance sector, to write regulation prohibiting, the bumpers. What's more important, protecting the vehicles occupants, or the vehicle?

Depends on the state, but when I wrecked the front bumper on my brother's 2016 3500 in 2017, it was about $4500 to replace the bumper. Had the option to either send it to a shop to be taken care of, or get a check and take care of it ourselves.

Like William said, if you get into an accident, take that money, but contact the shop that did the estimate and see if instead of putting the original on, if they’ll rather order an aftermarket for you. A lot of shops will make some modifications and work with you to do whatever you want (like putting on color matched parts instead of chrome, putti bf on aftermarket parts instead of stock, etc).

these heavy metal bumpers actually increase the odds of the frame bending in a car crash. It will protect you from deer for sure but make a car crash more likely a right off. depends what you think you're more likely to hit.

@@jrmartin003 It's a skirt that is narrower at the hem end that usually only looks good on professional models. I believe it was probably designed by a man for sole purpose of keeping a woman from walking or running away. 😃

Gotta say Cody, I agree that your F-350 would look even better with some of those rugged continental tires. Maybe not those 41" tires since they won't fit but a smaller version with that off-road tread would look amazing. I personally am not a big fan of lift kits but something like a leveling kit to even things out with a bigger tire would look beastly. All-in-all you have my vote if you wish to proceed.

So exciting! I ordered my rear bumper with tire carrier and storage box from Buckstop last month for my Ford Excursion. Should be shipping in about a week and a half. Awesome to see the shop up close...

our brush truck has the super single conversion on it. Done by skeeter. They did it to a one ton truck. Tires are not that bad, very heavy, a lot of rotating mass, cannot be lifted by yourself into the truck and they hum pretty loudly. It also takes more to stop them. I wouldn’t do it on a 350 or less due to gear ratio, brakes and axle strength. Those tires crest a heavy wear load on all components.

I hit my first deer on Wed. Broke the light and dented the bumper. The sad part he was a nice-looking Buck and 3 does with him.

My brother in law has three deer heads mounted on his wall with little brass placques reading: taken with a Marlin .30-30, taken with a Winchester 7mm Rem Mag, taken with a Datsun '72 pickup.

What the pandemic has taught me is to support local companies and your countries own manufacture base. It gives jobs to local people, keeps taxes in country and is better for the environment, due to less transport miles. As always choose quality, and buy once.

Have you considered applying a coat of Woolwax or Turoil underneath the frame. Well worth the prevention of rust, especially if you are plowing snow.

Yep - you need the clearance bumper and the super single Goodyear’s. I’d estimate those around 900-1000 apiece, but worth it. We used them on the front steer tires for our roll off trucks servicing gas and oil sites. Much easier to change by hand than a car tire, I’ll tell ya that!!! We didn’t even have to balance them on the Alcoa wheels we used.

Cody I am glad you didn't let the "crisis" go to waste. That is a good looking bumper! Now how do we initiate a crisis so Mrs. "W" will go for those wheels and tires? I'm down here in the swamps and bayous of Louisiana and I seldom get snow and when we do, it's usually a mere dusting. But, the wheels are turning! A 42" tire like that ought to really plough through the mud! Keep em coming.

I'm anxious to see how well the coating holds up. Not that you'll be trail riding through the brush, but I've used all kinds of brush guard or push bars and the factory coating has always been lacking or they fade within weeks from sun exposure. Look forward to an update/review

I used to work at a country club* on some government land where there were herds of protected deer, and everyone who worked there had hit a deer. There was close to 60 employees, but I never had that issue.....because of my loud custom stereo. Apparently deer are not music (bass) lovers...who would have known? LOL

Here in the East eliminating duallies would simplify tolls and bridges. We pay extra tolls and fees for the extra two tires.

Here in australia we use steel bars as a pose to aluminium bars because the aluminum bars are too weak...also those tyres are ridicules for they need more side wall tread and they need to be 4" smaller

Super singles are great until you get a puncture. Then you're stuck until you can find a replacement. I had them on my semi at one point and it was a disaster.

One thing I don’t like about the chosen design - the prominence of the License Plate. Would have specifically made sure it was recessed into into the bumper as deep as possible for the improved aesthetic AND the reduction of your “Digital Age Footprint”.
