I was actually looking this up. Apparently this dawning just gone, one of the quests we get from Zavala wants us to get a gift for Empress Caital to make her feel welcome. Zavala looks towards the postmaster seeing 2 guardians dance and then jump off the tower with their ghosts waiting patiently to revive them. They laugh and then run off towards the crucible. XD Canonically, guardians kill the selves for fun and it’s considered normal. I wonder how many corpses are at the bottom of the tower wall, or do they get disintegrated when the guardian gets revived?

Season of the Witch was great imo. From the seasonal activities/story and secret puzzles to the crafting bug; this season was quite a wild ride!

Fireteam Blow-Up: A group of very chaotic Guardians with a high success rate. They are known for using rocket launchers and other heavily explosive weapons. Whenever they come across a very major gap, they like to blow themselves up to get across. Even despite all the chaos, the Ghosts don't appear to mind. In fact, they enjoy the craziness as well. (This took me FOREVER to write up.)

Season of the Witch, despite the layoffs, was quite a fun one. Especially with the Craftening! Can't wait for Chibi to experience the new Scorn dungeon!
