Ted de Pine I just saw him in Syracuse New York some people in the audience were saying he was the best in the world. I hope so I wish you could make it with a big band. Can I ask you a question who do you think was better Eddie or Randy
@@joshwolf5377 jason becker is a legend and he’s definitely up there but he stopped playing so early on in his career due to ALS …if he would’ve been able to keep playing he would be even higher when we’re talking about the best of all time…but buckethead is just as great as shredding as jason but is much more versatile overall with his musicality.
Awesome freaking video! The Buckethead paying tribute to the BEST guitar player who ever lived, Randy Rhoads!! And before you start tearing me to shreds over that statement consider this.....Buckethead OBVIOUSLY respects Randy. Not only did he decide to include his music in his live performance but he also played it note for note. He didn't embellish it at all. And we all know he could have. I bet if you asked Bucketman, he would tell you that he had mad respect for Randy.
Never really thought much of the Buckethead gimmick. But after watching these clips....the Fukker's amazing. Deserves more notoriety. Very clean & quick. Impressive.
1:54 (number 3): I have played with many top notch , insane, sold his/her soul to the devil musicians. I have heard some really impressive solos over the past 40 years but I must say 1:54 might be one of the best solos I have ever heard! Its not super insane tech, just tech but it is tasty. Hats off to you bucket.. that is a hell of a solo! grats
Dare I say Buckethead is the best guitarist to ever touch a lead guitar when him and Les claypool play together it's the best music ever to be made put them together with a good drummer let's go
I'm not sure if we are able to accept this honesty, but the first thing we hear is him playing a Randy Rhoads solo from Crazy Train, pretty much flawlessly, but even Randy had the unique timing and phrasing ability that is second to none. Its beyond my guitar abilities to mimic either one of the guys_ its just so very important to remind or suggest to beginning guitar enthusiasts or old guitar players to listen to Dairy of a Madman or Blizzard of Oz once a day for like two ,three years, so as to ingrain his solo structure and phrasing to allow yourself a goal in which to dream of becoming.
Clay Kinser I would say soothsayer and Jordan are his most difficult songs to play... well then again Nottingham lance... well shit all of his stuff is hard
I laughed when I saw that video even existed. And I like John5. But unless he's grown exponentially since his first couple solo albums, I don't think they're on the same planet, technically.
You Know why BUCKETHEAD is who he is? Because he is not trying to copy anyone else..He is doing what he is gifted to do and that is PLAY THE GUITAR! Sound so hard? It is the fact! So many guitar players come out and play these amazing riffs and they are just copying the ones they learned from.. If you asked them to do a riff on their own they would choke and puke!
How to play like Buckethead 1: plug guitar into amp 2: turn amp on 3: crank up the gain 4: startle 2 tarantulas 5: toss tarantulas onto guitar 6: await record deal
I grew up mostly van halen, metallica, g n r. Listening to shredder stuff I enjoy and can understand, but I guess the difference is a rock song with a melody and a solo that makes sense vs a guitar/gymnastics recital?
I feel that Jordan and soothsayer are backwards. Jordan is chromatic scales and chillswitch, while soothsayer was more shredding. And Soothsayer is more emotional and overall, a much longer solo
es muy bueno pero desgrasiadamentw sera mas recordado por el bote en la cabeza que por su talento en la guitarra lastima pero el solo se condeno a eso aaa y tambien porque su mama fue una gallina
#5 Crazy Train (0:30). #4 Soothsayer (1:00). #3 Jordan (1:55). #2 Guns n Roses - Nightrain .The clip was taken from Buckethead - Nightrain Solo (Boston 2002 SBD) #1 Night Of The Slunk (5:04)
